Maghreb-style vegetable stew (multicooker Redmond RMC M4502)

Ingredients

Eggplant 750 BC
Tomatoes 450 BC
Onion 350 BC
Garlic 3 cloves
Chilli ½ pod
Zira (cumin) 1 tbsp. l.
Ground sweet paprika 2 tbsp. l.
Coarse salt taste
Olive oil for frying

Cooking method

  • Chop the onion, eggplant and tomatoes very coarsely. Cut the garlic and chili into rings. Rub the zira in your hands or beat it lightly in a mortar.
  • Pour olive oil into the bottom of the bowl, put all the onions.
  • Maghreb-style vegetable stew (multicooker Redmond RMC M4502)
  • Then alternately lay out eggplants and tomatoes in layers, sprinkling each layer with salt, garlic, chili, cumin and paprika until the vegetables run out. Instead of paprika, you can put a couple of fresh sweet peppers, coarsely chopped.
  • Maghreb-style vegetable stew (multicooker Redmond RMC M4502)
  • Switch on the Baking program for 45 minutes, stir gently ten minutes before the end of the program, taking care not to disturb the integrity of the pieces.
  • It will make an excellent side dish for fish or meat. Can be combined with couscous. Delicious and cold.
  • Try it!

Note

Vegetables provide a lot of flavorful sauce that can be drained and frozen, and then used in soup or stewed meat, or added to water when cooking rice.

Antonovka
Arka,
Natasha, made a stew yesterday) It turned out very tasty, just with fish and ate
I didn't have fresh chili pepper, but there is dry - I didn't regret it. I was afraid that there was a lot of cumin - but no, everything is very harmonious! Thank you so much!
Arka
Lena, to your health!
what, overdid it with pepper?
Antonovka
Arka,
There is a little Husband said that today it was spicy for lunch in a cold state than yesterday in a warm one - which, of course, is strange to me
Arka
So the pepper was infused ...
make another half portion without any pepper and mix
Antonovka
Arka,
So everything has already been eaten We are "bachelor", put in the dacha - I cooked for 1/3 of the portion, but I should have at least 1/2, or better, whole at once But then it would not fit into my new little cartoon
In short, I don’t know which was more primary - our reduced team or the desire to indulge in a still new cartoon
Arka
The balovnitsa! Congratulations on your little helper!
Lakertilia
Thanks for the recipe.
Arka
Yulia, to your health, help yourself!
