Ingredients

dry yeast 1 tsp
premium wheat flour 280 g
fresh peach 80-90 g
milk 70 ml
granulated sugar 30 g
salt 0.75 tsp
chicken egg 0.5 pcs
ghee (or butter) 20 g
vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l
For the top:
0.5 eggs + 1 tsp milk
sprinkle poppy (optional)

Cooking method

  • Purée the peach with a blender or grate it on a fine grater.
  • Knead a soft elastic dough from the indicated ingredients, it is better to add butter at the end of the batch.
  • Leave the dough to rise for an hour and a half.
  • Place the dough on a lightly floured table, divide into 8 equal parts. Form buns.
  • Transfer the buns to a lined baking sheet and let them double in size.
  • Grease the buns with a mixture of egg and milk, sprinkle with poppy seeds (optional).
  • Bake on the upper level in an oven preheated to 230 degrees for 3-4 minutes, then lower the temperature to 210 degrees and bring the buns to readiness (the temperature is indicated "without convection"). The baking time depends on the oven, I got about twenty minutes.
  • Put the finished buns on a wire rack and let them cool.

The recipe was born in connection with the need to attach somewhere 2 kilos of tough peaches, my eaters categorically refused to crunch them - I had to invent ".... something not sweet, so that you could chew with butter and sausage ..."
