Czech garlic garlic soup.

Ingredients

Medium potatoes 4 things.
Poultry broth 1.2 l
Garlic 8 slices
Dried marjoram 1 tsp
Bay leaf 2 pcs.
Melted bacon 1 tsp
Salt pepper taste
Stale bagels (any bread) 2 pcs.
Butter 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Peel the potatoes, cut into 1 by 1 cm cubes. Heat the lard in a thick-walled saucepan, pour the prepared potatoes into it. Fry it for several minutes over high heat. When the potato cubes begin to turn golden, add the garlic and bay leaves, chopped into slices, mix well, heat slightly and when a pleasant garlic smell appears, pour in broth from any poultry (I used chicken broth).
  • Season with salt, pepper, reduce heat, add marjoram and cook potatoes until pleasantly soft. Serve with croutons, prepared in the usual way. Cut white bread or unsweetened bun into cubes and fry in warmed butter until golden brown. The croutons in the soup can be sprinkled with finely grated hard cheese.

Note

Garlic is served in all Czech cafes; it is also cooked at home. You can also cook in water, it will still be tasty, because all the charm here is in fried potatoes and garlic. Alternatively, add 4 tablespoons to the soup. l. boiled cereals to taste. Marjoram can be used fresh, but dry before laying it well knead between fingers or palms to have a better aroma.
And, most importantly, there will be no smell of garlic from you after eating! You are only enjoying a delicious meal with a delicate garlic aroma.
