Pork fat sandwich spread with spices

Ingredients

Pork
(bold chamfer part,
subperitoneum)
800 g
Onion 200 g
Sour apple 1 PC.
Sage 1 branch
Marjoram 1 branch
Thyme 1 branch
Canned green peppers 1 spoon
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Fresh spices can be replaced with dry ones. Canned peppers can be replaced with regular dried peppers and add 1 tbsp. l. aromatic vinegar.

  • - Cut the lard into small cubes. Finely chop the onion, Dice the apple.
  • - Put the meat in a deep frying pan and fry, stirring occasionally over low heat, for 15 minutes, until the cracklings begin to shine.
  • - Add onion, apple to the cracklings, fry for another 10 minutes, until the cracklings become crispy.
  • - Finely chop the herbs. Add to the cracklings, and add the pepper. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  • - Season with salt and pepper to taste, put in sterile jars. Wait until cool, close the lids and store in a cool place.
