Raspberry liqueur

Ingredients

raspberry 1 liter. bank
water 1.5 liters
lemon acid 1 tsp
vodka 1 liter
raspberry leaves 100 pieces
cherry leaves 100 pieces

Cooking method

  • It's time for raspberries. Why not make liquor?
  • This liqueur is wonderful from both raspberries and tea rose petals.
  • Put everything in one pot:
  • 1L can of raspberries (or stuffed with tea rose petals)
  • 1.5 l of raw water
  • 100 cherry leaves + 100 raspberry leaves (in the case of a rose, I take 200 cherry or 100 pink ones, as I did not notice the difference, but tannins are present).
  • Boil for 20 minutes, remove, cool for 30 minutes. Then strain and squeeze.
  • Add to this broth
  • +
  • 1.5 kg of sugar. Stir
  • +
  • 1h l citric acid
  • You can heat it up again to melt the sugar.
  • +
  • 1l vodka
  • All! Stirred, poured into branded bottles and into the pantry, you can immediately indulge.

Yes, Irina, at the very end. Sweet liqueur, smelling! Maybe sugar and less would be needed, but as for me - the very thing is that you can't spoil everything at once.

I also love when it is sweet. With raspberries, it should be so, I think. While I’m bringing in the bookmarks there will be an opportunity, I will definitely do it.

Natasha, great recipe! Especially interesting with tea rose petals. Interestingly, has anyone tried such a liqueur from white raspberries? And another question: with cherry leaves, I make sherry brandy from black chokeberry, but why are they in raspberries - maybe you can do without them? Do they clog the raspberry flavor? Thank you!

I have not tried it from white raspberries, but I think, why not, because it is so fragrant. It's just that the color won't be very good.
And about cherry leaves - there are some kind of tannins, they explained it to me, the smell is not very reflected, that is, it does not harm.
According to the recipe, this liqueur was also made from currants and gooseberries. I didn't cook it myself.
But the tea rose is just great!

Late, I found this recipe in the summer at the dacha there were so many raspberries, they did not know where to put them. Compotes, ground with sugar, cooked jam, made liqueur (bullshit Some kind of work turned out, there these water seals need to be done, everything should be set on time, then removed ... they got confused, but the result was not impressive).
I will definitely make this liqueur next year!
Thank you Natasha for the recipe!
