Ingredients

fresh yeast 2.5-3 g
warm water 0.5 stack
milk 0.5 stack
egg 1 PC.
sugar 0.25 stack
salt 0.25 tsp

Cooking method

  • Then add an egg, the rest of the water with milk, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, mix everything thoroughly.
  • Gradually add flour, about half a glass, knead, so that it is soft and flexible.
  • Let the dough stand until it doubles in volume. (It stands for a long time, at least 2 hours in a heated oven)
  • Divide the dough into pieces and make rollers. (I rolled out the layer and cut the strips)
  • Prepare a heat-resistant glass bowl (diameter about 22 cm), turn it upside down, grease it with oil and form a basket on it, intertwining the rollers. (I took a suitable bowl and turned it over).

  • After forming the "basket" grease it with yolk and bake. Heat the oven to 180-190, determine the baking time yourself, until the basket acquires a golden color. Let cool in a bowl.

  • Then we shape the edge of the basket.
  • Roll the dough into three long rollers and braid, trace the edge of the parchment paper bowl and line the braid out. Brush with yolk and bake until golden brown.

  • Also form the handle of the basket.
  • Put this braid on a bowl (only in the center), brush with yolk and bake like other parts. (I took another bowl).

  • After baking, all parts of the basket should be brought together (you can use toothpicks) and the basket is ready.

I have a scale with an accuracy of 1 g, so I put 3 grams. The dough is suitable for a long time, I put it in the oven for 2 hours to 50 degrees (I have this at least). I added 4 g of yeast to the dough, to speed up the dough, the distance in the oven. Divided into 3 parts and started to work - like a hand fell.

Oliviak, in this recipe I would count the ratio of dry: fresh = 1 hour. l.: 6g. Accordingly, 0.5 tsp is needed, but I would have poured a little less, otherwise the dough will then be soft and the basket will slowly lose its shape.
And I boast - the churchmen ordered such a basket for the New Year to congratulate the Vladyka of Dnepropetrovsk, and I also baked Cantucci cookies there at their request. I packed it all in cellophane, the beauty turned out !!!
