Ingredients

Eggs 7 pcs
flour 1 kg
yeast 60g
milk 2 glasses
sugar 1.5 cups
raisins 0.5 cups
butter 300g

Cooking method

  • Wash and dry the raisins.

  • After the dough rises twice, add the raisins.
  • Put butter paper on the bottom of the mold, coat the sides of the mold with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  • Place the dough in the mold, filling it 1/3 full (air cake), or 1/2 (heavier cake). After an hour (or earlier, if the dough rises by more than 3/4 of the mold), anoint the top of the cake with yolk and gently put in a warm oven. Bake on low heat 50-60 min. The first 20 minutes. do not open the oven, otherwise the dough will settle.
  • Remove the finished cake from the oven and put in a mold on its side for 8-10 hours. While the cake is hot, turn the mold several times.
  • Drizzle the cake with fondant: beat 1 protein with 0.5 cups of powdered sugar.

The recipe is good! Today, right before the holiday I tried it! I counted the glass as 250 grams, maybe that's why the flour took more than 1 kg. And you can have more sugar.
