Chicken liver with apples and bell pepper

Ingredients

chicken liver 500-600 gr.
a large sour apple or two small 1 PC.
turnip. bulb 1 large
bell pepper 1 large
celery stalk 1 PC.
green onions 100 g
salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Chicken liver with apples and bell pepper
  • Cut the pepper and onions into cubes or strips. Peel and core the apples and cut into cubes or wedges. Cut green onions into long strips diagonally.
  • Chicken liver with apples and bell pepper
  • Cut the liver into pieces and fry in sunflower. oil for 4-5 minutes, then transfer to a plate and put in a warm place.
  • In the same pan where the liver was fried, fry the onions and peppers for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add apples and green onions to the pan and simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Celery can be added either along with bell peppers or with apples, depending on how soft you prefer.
  • Put the liver in the pan again, season with salt and pepper, add 3 tbsp. l. water, stir and simmer over medium heat for another 5-7 minutes. We really enjoyed!
