Ingredients

Cauliflower 1 swing
Oranges 3 pcs.
Lemon 1 PC.
White wine 250 ml
Carrot 2 pcs.
Red onion 2 pcs.
Saffron 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Divide the cauliflower into small florets and blanch for 3 minutes.
  • Thinly chop the zest of two oranges, cut the onion into half rings, and the carrots into thin slices.

  • Squeeze the juice out of the oranges and lemon and strain it into a saucepan through a sieve. Add saffron, wine and coriander seeds and bring to a boil.
  • Put cabbage, carrots, onions, orange zest in a deep-bottomed saucepan. Pour over the sauce and cook for 10-12 minutes until the vegetables are ready. Add salt and pepper to taste.

It is better to squeeze the lemon juice separately and add carefully, trying all the time so that the sauce is not sour. Because oranges also come across sour, but here you should not overdo it with acid.
