I have a question for Dentist
According to the specified recipe for Coffee Bread, translating it for panasonic SD-253, I baked bread. Everything worked out. True, I had it like bread with additives, that is, it was baked for 4 hours. It turned out to be lush, not sweet, but a little sweet, and then, probably, from raisins, but grayish in color and ....... no taste or smell from coffee. Coffee bread? Not confused, by chance, this recipe contains the amount of instant coffee. Maybe you need not 2 teaspoons, but 2 tablespoons? Please excuse me. I'm a man after all. Maybe I don't understand why. It's just fun to experiment with the bread maker. I still softened half a loaf of warm bread, I liked it (I live alone, there is no one to ask for advice on the taste of the result). But still! He's coffee! And the taste and color should be coffee?
Yuri
The next day, in the evening, I decided to finish the rest of my coffee bread. For some reason, he seemed to me not sweetish already. There are raisins - sweet, just dough - no. Maybe you need to add sugar to the recipe. Nobody tried it?
stadlen
Yuri, I also have a panasonic SD-253, baked coffee, but in the fast bread mode, normal sweet, this morning also sweet, but a little plasticine, I put 2 teaspoons of coffee, the color, I agree, turned out to be grayish because of the coffee. If you do not know that it was there, then it is difficult to guess, but I knew, so I heard the smell of coffee. In general, the bread is normal, only I will try to remove the plasticine.
Maybe it was necessary to put it on a dark crust, otherwise it was pale?
fugaska
even 2 tablespoons will not give you a distinct taste and color of coffee in a kilogram loaf! coffee will only add a light flavor! and for sweet bread, you need to add sugar
stadlen
According to the sugar recipe, there are 3.5 tables. spoons, I think that's enough, but everyone has their own tastes, as in tea.
fugaska
then make it with ordinary milk, not water - it will definitely be sweeter! the fatter the milk you take, the more rich the bread you get
Lelya
Oh, my head is full of holes! During this work, I forgot to share my impressions of how my coffee turned out !!!
I mixed it with baked milk, instead of sugar I put buckwheat honey (it is the tartest, darkest fragrant of honey, I love it very much), and I added ground arabica coffee, which is not soluble at all (the aroma is thicker)

It turned out phenomenally tasty! The color, of course, was not black or even brown, but this can be forgiven for the incomparable taste! Thanks for the recipe!
stadlen
So, these are not my questions, but mine - how to make it less plasticine, will anyone answer? Can give a little less water?
fugaska
remove plasticine - it's definitely a bit too much liquid. your bun is probably a little tough ... and it's better to bake not on the fast mode, but on the usual one - the bread will be lighter
and I always put a dark crust.only if you do it with milk, then it will brown faster and more (the fatter, the more rosy)
Oksanchik
I also tried this recipe, only in the BASIC mode, because on Skorom in Skis, bread does not rise to the end. It turned out very tasty, and the coffee just gives a grayish color.

I tried again, but put in the ground arabica and took less water. Basic mode. It turned out better and more aromatic.
DuDyuka_Kiev
girls, do you fill up the pure ground coffee? or pre-brew and pour in the form of a liquid without thickening?
Yuri
Very interesting! With a soluble it is clear. Of course, in its purest form. But he does not give a smell. But with ground, natural? Fall asleep dry? And what if later on the teeth particles of grains will be felt? As in the leftover coffee in a cup, if you brew in a Turk. Not solid! Then it's probably better to brew and drain the thick. But then half of the future smell and taste will disappear!
stadlen
I fell asleep ground, did not brew, nothing is felt and does not crunch, but the smell is stronger, that's for sure.

my bread
Coffee bread for tea (bread maker)

mshevryg
Thanks for the recipe. Baking in the main mode. It turned out very tasty!
Ulitka
Yes, the recipe is good, the bread is excellent, but not for everyone ...
He did not go with us. I don’t even understand why ?! We can't live without coffee, but the coffee bread is stale ...
I added natural ground coffee "Arabica", I don't want to try with others ...
Viki
I put ground arabica in this bread, which on the packaging says "for a Turk" - this is the finest grind. It turns out wonderful and you don't need to brew.
K.E.O.
How much more sugar can you put in? And can you make more sugar with milk?
fugaska You always offer recipes in grams, for which many thanks to you, is it possible to transform this recipe into grams, more sugar and milk.
K.E.O.
I did it, I did it !!!
I took 240 ml of milk, 410 g of flour, 20 g of melted butter, 5 tablespoons of table sugar, 60 g of candied fruits (pineapple). The rest is all according to the recipe. Actually, this is also almost according to the recipe, the weight of the products in the cups is the same. Thanks a lot for the recipe, delicious. But the coffee smells a little (I used freshly ground coffee - 2 teaspoons).
K.E.O.
fugaska but please also describe everything how you are doing. Your recipes are unrivaled. There is no good perfection
fugaska
Today I'm experimenting - I put a coffee loaf to bake
I give the recipe:
milk 2.5% + bio-kefir 1.5% + whey = 350 ml
premium wheat flour - 580 gr
butter - 50 gr
sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
salt - 1.5 tsp.
coffee - 3 tsp.
Saf-moment yeast - 1.75 tsp (maybe less, it's just that mine are too old)
raisins - 60 gr (whistle)
basic mode, dark crust, size 1 kg
I will report the result later, while the dough is just coming up
........................ ..............

I report - it turned out as always excellent! airy, rosy bread (I left it warm for an hour), with a light coffee aroma and a very light taste of coffee. the color of the coffee imparts a slightly grayish color. in principle, sugar could have been put in more (two times, so that it looks more like a sweet roll). and so - ordinary bread with raisins is still missing something, the brightness of the taste or something ... I don't even know what to add, I have not understood yet ...

And I added a packet of instant hot chocolate. The scent appeared and the color improved. Baking in the main mode, it turns out worse in the near future.
Kiev woman
I added both plain cocoa and coffee. Adds a little color, but you need to lay down more, you can bring up to 2 tablespoons. It is also good to add raisins and any nuts, only the nuts are not small, otherwise they will not be felt. The result tastes like a good cupcake. And don't spare sugar.
Moonfog
Add cocoa powder to give the loaf its true chocolate color and flavor. It turns out a loaf of stunning color and aroma, with a slight chocolate bitterness.

Chocolate bread recipe for "Panasonic 253"

Size: very large

Dry yeast 1 1/2 tsp
Pshenich. flour 550 g
Salt 1 3/4 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Powdered milk 2 1/2 tbsp. l.
Butter 38g. (2 1/2 tbsp. L.)
Cocoa powder 6 tbsp. l.
1/2 cup chocolate pieces (in dispenser or add on signal)
Water 390 ml.

I think chocolate can be substituted for instant coffee. I myself added 1/2 cup of chocolate chunks. But at that time I only had aerated chocolate, which is probably why it completely dissolved in the dough and its inclusions are absolutely imperceptible. Just a very even beautiful dark chocolate crumb color. Bread also lacks a pronounced taste of chocolate, only a slight bitterness. But the aroma is amazing!

This bread was baked one of the first in the book of its LG. I also got some plasticine and gray bread on the fast program. Yesterday I baked it on the main one and pre-brewed fresh coffee (3 tsp. With a slide for 200 ml of water).
When it was filtered, it turned out about 150ml and the volume of liquid was brought with fresh milk, sugar was put 4.5 tbsp. L. (I was afraid, the bitterness of coffee) Everything else according to the recipe.
The bread turned out with an amazing coffee aroma and a delicate, pleasant taste. Yes, and pleased with the color - "coffee with milk". Anyone interested in this recipe, try it, it turns out what you expect from this bread.

You simply cannot convey. Insanely delicious, well, just very, very. There is but ... next time I'll put the oven on a weak crust.
Baking in the main mode.
Just love this recipe. Thank you very much!!!

........................ ........................ .........

: flowers: Favorite bread. I changed this recipe a little.
First, I added a spoonful of instant coffee and a spoonful of ground. It depends. Sometimes only 1 type of coffee.
Then I decided to exclude coffee and put a teaspoon with a heap of honey. Guys .... what a yummy-tio it turned out, you just can't tell. I'm just delighted. I also added a little cinnamon to the honey. The aroma just killed me when the bread was baked. I couldn't find a place for myself. In general, now I bake bread only according to this recipe, as the main one I take, and all other additives, according to my mood. I highly recommend everything.

We almost always replace sugar with honey (except for chocolate bread). Most of all I was surprised so far by a loaf (according to the usual recipe) in which I replaced the water with strong green tea with jasmine. The taste is very refreshing.

Thanks for the recipe!
The household really liked it. I changed the recipe a little. Well, my younger daughter doesn't like raisins. Made with nuts. Well, very tasty! I will do it!

I tried to bake this bread today, but did not read the comments to the end, but in vain. The bread turned out to be normal in size and beautiful in color. But ... I don't have enough sugar and I had to bet on Basic mode, not Fast. I can't say that I really liked it very much, you can eat with tea.
