Pampushki with garlic for borscht in Ukrainian

Ingredients

fresh yeast 10 g
flour 500 g
vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
water (or half milk) 1 glass (250ml)
sugar 1 tbsp. l.
salt 1 tsp
egg (you can do it without eggs - the dough will be softer) 2pcs (minus the yolk for grease)

Cooking method

Pampushk with garlic is a very tasty addition to Ukrainian borscht.

Knead the dough and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
I cut into balls of 50 g, shape, grease each rast. oil and put them tightly (!) in a mold with sides. Let them come up for 30 minutes. in a warm place, approximately until it doubles in volume.
I grease the surface of the donuts with a whipped mixture of yolk and cream (milk), bake for 30-40 minutes at a temperature of 180 * C.
While the donuts are baking, prepare the sauce.

Garlic Sause:
6 large cloves of garlic
sunflower oil - 4 tbsp. spoons
water - 4 tbsp. spoons
salt to taste.

To do this, grind (crush) the garlic with salt, add oil, water, and mix thoroughly. The sauce should be thick, like sour cream. I disassemble the finished donuts into separate pieces, put them in a saucepan, pour them over with garlic sauce, mix (shake) until they are soaked in garlic. I wrap it up.
All bon appetit!

The dish is designed for

17-18

Time for preparing:

30-40 minutes

The sides of the donuts should be exactly without sides (for this we put them close to the shape), so they are better saturated with garlic sauce

I took it to the bookmarks. I must try to do it myself, I tried it 15 years ago, my mother-in-law did it, it was delicious.
Thanks for the recipe.

Misha, thank you very much for the recipe, but I didn't make the garlic sauce, and added more sugar. My kids ate in 2 sitting. Just delicious.

Stella, thanks a lot for the donut recipe! I baked it for borsch this morning, they really asked for donuts. I didn't even have time to pour the sauce so that they were soaked at least a bit, and not a single donut survived to the photo session - they took everything away in an instant.I did half the portion, I think they will take one piece at a time, so, indulge, but it turned out as it turned out - they only praised and regretted that they hadn't baked enough. It turned out the same as in your photo, only the shape I had, of course, was smaller, and my donuts also fit tightly, but there were 10-12 pieces of them about 50 grams each. They turned out very lush, ruddy, shiny, and already delicious, oh, it's a pity they didn't endure mine before soaking with garlic sauce, next time I'll do it in advance and now with soaking.

As I like it: the classic chamomile rolls in pampusas, etc., etc.

I baked donuts! It's a miracle, how delicious! And before that I tried two recipes and was disappointed, I decided that the praise about donuts was exaggerated, but after trying your recipe, I say: “Pumpkins are class!” Thanks for the secret (put the donuts tightly), in fact, they are very well impregnated and absorb the aroma of the filling! Now I will cook this way! And I have a question for you, and you do not happen to know the recipe for delicious pies with apples? I was treated somehow, well, very tasty, but there was no way to ask the recipe, now I'm looking for such, but it's not that. Thanks again for the recipe, it's a miracle!

Made donuts!
I didn't have time to cook borscht
Neighbors and friends of children pulled up
It turned out that Pampushki with garlic + sweet tea = great afternoon tea! And also with the effect of antigrippin!

Oh, it's such a rarity for me to have borscht and donuts in my house. I rarely cook borscht, and don’t even cook once a year. At home, you can buy pampuhs in any bakery, but in Belgium they cannot even imagine this.

Natasha, need to try!

I did it last week, and I also added parsley, as in the store. It is also excellent, especially since parsley and borscht are perfectly combined.
