Panasonic SD-2501. French bread.

Ingredients

Dry fast-acting yeast 1 tsp
Wheat flour 400 grams.
Salt 1.25 tsp
Butter 1 tbsp. l. (15 grams.)
Milk 280 ml.

Cooking method

  • Making French bread is very easy.
  • Recipe from the instructions for the Panasonic SD-2501.
  • 1. To prepare this bread, put dry yeast on the bottom of the mold. In this case, we used Dr. Oetker yeast. One packet contains 7 grams of dry yeast and is designed for 500 grams of flour. You don't have to measure anything and empty the bag completely.
  • 2. Wheat flour is poured on top.
  • 3. Then add salt and butter.
  • 4. In the original version of the recipe, it was necessary to add 1.5 tbsp. l. milk powder and 280 ml. water, but you can replace it with 280 ml. milk. This will only improve the taste of French bread.
  • 5. Next, you need to run the 8th program, which is called "French bread".

Time for preparing:

6 o'clock

Cooking program:

8 program for Panasonic SD-2501

Note

The advantage of the bread machine is that only in it you can bake a large amount of dough with high quality. This cannot be done in the oven and therefore you have to make a narrow and long shape. The dough in the oven is always better baked either from the top or from the bottom. Only a bread maker can bake efficiently and evenly over the entire surface.

Yeast used:

Panasonic SD-2501. French bread.
The resulting French bread:

Panasonic SD-2501. French bread.

I bake for the second time in my life and I did it. Long live automation!

Your bread turned out well for the second time in your life!
Just do not say what is not true! Go through the recipes of the forum and see what kind of bread people get in the oven in color, shape, and especially in taste and smell!
Otherwise, you will open such a discussion here ...

I'll raise the topic. Yesterday I baked French (I have a Panasonic SD-2502). I set for the night and set myself an alarm clock for three nights (I calculated the end of the program) - to get it out, not to leave the bread in the oven. When I started to pull it out, I had to help a little with a spatula from all sides, it was difficult to take out and the crust crumbled strongly. All ingredients were put strictly according to the recipe. What could be the reason for this crumbling? Straight the whole table was strewn in the morning when cutting. I am guilty of dissolving the yeast in very warm water, maybe not a full cycle of time has passed because of this, but less? And it managed to dry before pulling out ... But the taste is very good!

Please tell me, do you need to melt butter or put softened? Thank you in advance.

Butter can also be softened, at room temperature - when kneading from the heat of rotation of the knives, it will quickly dissolve in the dough, there will be no trace, especially since there is very little of it.
