Ingredients

interlayer:
pitted prunes 500 gr.
cream:
sour cream 27% fat (minimum 23%) 500 gr.
powdered sugar 2-3 st. l.
not boiled condensed milk 200 gr.
butter 100 g
cognac or brandy 1 tbsp. l.
vanilla 1 gr.
lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
chocolate glaze:
dark chocolate 200 gr.
cream (fat content does not matter) 120 g
some plum for decoration. a handful of almonds. chocolate chips.

Cooking method

  • The cake is delicious! The combination of nuts, prunes and condensed milk cream with sour cream has been loved since childhood! The cake is big and juicy. if I can say so about him, and very chocolate! If you like chocolate covered prunes, then this cake is for you!
  • nut biscuit:

  • add honey, mix in the same way.
  • sifted and combined with baking powder and vanilla flour, gradually add to the egg-nut mixture, stirring from bottom to top in a circle, do not be alarmed, the dough will drop a little, but not much.
  • gently pour the dough into a greased and floured mold and bake at 160 "40-50 minutes. Do not open the oven !!! check the readiness of the baking with a wooden stick, let it cool in the oven by opening the door.
  • soak the prunes in hot water for about 20 minutes, drain the water, keeping it, it will come in handy for impregnation and grind it in a blender, if it is dry, add a little of the stored liquid, taking into account. that we will have to spread it.
  • cream:
  • sour cream, it should be thick, beat with powdered sugar until stable peaks.
  • in a separate container, beat the butter, add the condensed milk and beat again.
  • using a spatula, combine with sour cream, add cognac, lemon and mix everything together.
  • assembly:
  • Cut the cooled biscuit into 2 cakes.
  • Soak the bottom cake and spread with prunes. apply cream liberally.
  • cover with the top cake and do the same operation with it.
  • apply the cream over the entire surface of the cake and put it in the refrigerator, the cream should harden well.
  • chocolate glaze:
  • melt the chocolate in a steam bath, add cream, cut into pieces and mix well.
  • it is better to apply the icing on the cake in two stages, first grease with the first thin layer of icing and let it set, and only then apply the main one.
  • Stuff prunes for decoration with a mixture of ground walnuts and almonds, seasoned with condensed milk, dip in sugar. powder and put almonds.
