Marusya
Dear forum users! I want to change my gas stove to a panel. But since the kitchen already exists, we decided to order an additional module (a cabinet with drawers) instead of a gas stove and install a gas hob. Due to the fact that I actively use CF, my family is small (2 people), so we decided to buy a hob for 2 burners. I read a lot of information on the Internet, there is a choice. But suddenly I came across a tip that it is very small and at the same time you can't put a frying pan and a saucepan. Something I don't really believe in it. Advise !!!!
Tochechka
Marusya , I actually face the same task and also because of the multicooker, though I want to shove the dishwasher down. And although we are 3 people, I think 2 comforts will be enough. As a rule, on a hob. the distance between the combs is 20-22 cm. In my standard plate it is 25 cm, sometimes 27 on large plates. And the throttle control knobs are pretty close to the near comfort. This steals space for the normal placement of two large objects, for example a 28 cm frying pan + 28 cm saucepan ... anything smaller becomes normal. 4 comf. surface distance, it is very rare to find close to the standard. Another 2 comf. as a rule, there is one very small + medium comf, which is also not good for me, but there are standard + turbo options. It is best to go to the store and take a couple of pots right there and see how it is. By the way, you can use narrow pots in the future, but pans ... So I think too
Marusya
Tochechka, thanks for the answer. Tell me what is turbo comfort? My frying pan is 26 cm, there are no large pots either. The largest is 4.5 liters. The dishwasher is next to me. Large, full-sized. Now it remains to try on everything and go to order ...
Qween
Marusya, I propose to knock with a question to our
Hairpin, she has a two-burner stove. I don’t remember her complaining, but you better clarify.

Qween
Fuuuh, I barely found what I wanted ...
Marusya, here is a topic about kitchen furniture, where there are photos and reviews of girls about the 2-burner stove. Read it, I think it will help you make a decision.
Tochechka
Oh thanks Qween, and I read A Turbo is a comfort with two rows of flame, such a largeGas hob
And Hairpin has just a hob with one ordinary and one tiny comfort, I don’t want this, for example, I don’t even use this very tiny stove on my stove to make coffee. But this is someone like
Marusya
I read that a large comfort with two rows of flame is WOK. I also like these plates ...
Tochechka
Maybe they are called differently. But the distance between the comforts is really small, although they are two full-fledged ... so I'm in thought
Marusya, have you decided on a two-burner?

There are still such Gas hob
Tochechka
Let's try, though our assortment does not quite match ... I'm looking for nadavi and Yandex market, there are at least some reviews. For example, about the zanusi:
Disadvantages: large and small burners, - it would be better to have two middle ones, Inconvenient grate, - he really does not like everything that is not in the center, tries to drop it right away. The distance between the centers of the burners is not enough - 18 cm, then I just noticed that other similar models have 21! that is, two pans close to each other! The gas control sensors could be hidden in the burner bodies.
Commentary: It costs its own money, it saves space on the table, it is immediately possible to cook in the spirit of comforts only with dishes of different sizes.
Disadvantages: If you put a large saucepan or frying pan on one stove, then nothing on the other. Cooking is not convenient for the family.

Here's about Beko with cast iron grates:
Advantages: Compact, the burners are located at a sufficient distance so that you can put a frying pan and a pan of normal size next to it. It is convenient that there are additional supports and the grill is not enameled, that is, the dishes do not slide anywhere. Electric ignition catches quickly, if you wish, you can not use it, but use ordinary matches, etc., like me, since there was no outlet in the country near the place of embedding
Disadvantages: The surface is made of stainless steel, for me this is a disadvantage, since it is difficult to wash. Enamel and glass are better in this regard.
Commentary: I am happy, I advise everyone. It's nice that the set included a grate for a coffee pot.

about Electrolux:
Advantages: Made of high quality - from a rather thick sheet of stainless steel (if you compare it with a similar zanussi or the cheapest from Bosch - there, thin metal bends from pressing a finger on the surface).
The grill is made of cast iron, therefore it will not peel off like enamel.
The twists are soft, easy to turn, for me this is a plus, but for children it is rather a minus.
Disadvantages: A big disadvantage of Electrolux for such an unfortunate small distance between the burners.
Comment: I bought it without reading the reviews. There is such an unpleasant feeling, like burner 2, but you cannot cook comfortably because of the distance.
It is better to choose Hotpoint-Ariston 7HDZ20S (IX) RU - it costs less and the distance between the burners is decent or Hotpoint-Ariston DZ 20 GH.

For me, it is important to find with the largest distance between the comforts, and this information does not appear in the descriptions only on scant reviews I have to navigate. I don’t want a useless little comfort yet ... so the circle narrows. There are kopeck pieces in the shops, you can go "touch", but as a rule they are the same type there and there is no choice ... so it will be difficult to figure it out
Marusya
The distance between the burners is also important to me .... From what you found, I like the Veko according to the reviews ...... Let's search!
Tochechka
Marusyahow are you getting on in choosing a gas panel? After shopping and examining different surfaces (well, ooooooooo little kopeck piece), I'm starting to lean towards the usual four-burner room. If you can partially close it, and put a cartoon on the closed part, but it is still convenient to cook with a free arrangement of pots and pans. What do you think?
Marusya
I looked in the M-video, looked at the neighbor's (she has Ariston), I liked it on 2 burners. Chose Bosch. But now they ordered a countertop for it.
Taia
Girls, can you leave your opinion here ..?
I have been using the 2-burner gas for a very long time. stove. (You choose the panel, it doesn't matter ....)
It was very inconvenient to use it, the dishes did not fit well on it, she was constantly angry at the stove. At that time, just another stove did not fit in the kitchen. For myself, I made an installation - NEVER have I ever had such a stove.
Tochechka
Oh,Flaksia Thank you for confirming my doubts, torment! I, too, in stores, how many did not spin around this 2-burner, with a frying pan and a medium-sized saucepan, not to mention large ones, well, they did not fit together. And so I wanted! Well, why do they make such a small distance between the comforts. I have two men in the house, a husband and a son, and they love to join the cooking process, well, and I just could not imagine how they were playing two objects on these comforts, for example a kettle (not I respect electric, I was and I don't want any more) and a frying pan with croutons And I still did not dare and ordered a normal one this morning they brought me About my impressions I'll tell you after the installation
Taia
That's right, it was the small distance between the burners that I was very unhappy with, and not the number of burners. I kind of got along with two, BUT! often, even 2 burners could not be used because the dishes did not fit. Now I have a 4 comf stove. 60 * 60,
Grypana
Oh, it means me to you! : flowers: Although my kitchen is only at the stage of drywall with a concrete screed on the floor, I am already actively looking for a gas stove. To be honest, I hate these gas stoves! This soot, brr. : spiteful: Although constantly with a rag, but still ...
Well, I also think about two comfort ones. I started remembering yesterday - last week I was frying pancakes, and yesterday I was stoking chocolate in a steam bath. That's all its use. For a safety net or what? And I don't like stainless steel. I'm tired of it. Is that how I need it or don't I need this stove? Family - 2 people. Multicooker and various devices are available. And I don't even know what to do. So, I think, maybe there are some non-standard 3-burner stoves or at least with a grill? Maybe someone met, pliz - indicate the way
Oleg Izhevsk
Also, in view of the lack of a large kitchen, we are looking closely at the 3-burner hob. Saving the working surface by 12-13 cm, which is an important factor for me.

Girls, help! We have already bought a Ventolux gas socket for 2 burners, we need to install it right now, but my husband and I still cannot decide how to install it: standard or across? If it's standard, then I'm afraid the wall will heat up from the dishes on it? If it is across, then there seems to be a place in front of the socket (well, there, leave a spoon on the stand, maybe something else). In general, we urgently need to decide, we are afraid to ruin the tabletop ...Gas hob
Or is it more convenient?

the wall will heat up exactly as much as it heats up with a 4-burner hob, that is, not much
Quote: Vinnitsa
If across, then there seems to be a place in front of the panel (well, there, leave a spoon on the stand, maybe something else)
but across it it takes up much more space on the tabletop.
I think you can decide by analyzing how often 2 burners will be used at the same time, if often - I would place the panel across, very rarely - then it is standard, thus increasing the working surface of the countertop
Vinnitsa
Thank you! Already installed across - my countertop is 3 meters minus the round sink. It turned out that in front of 18 cm of free space to the surface, behind to the wall - 12 cm.
I used to have a regular stove with a lid (against the back wall), so the distance was not very interesting.
The photo is not important, but it turned out so Gas hob

Elena, Congratulations! it turned out very well
Vinnitsa
Thank you! And very convenient!Gas hob
Creamy
Vinnitsa, it turned out very wonderful! When preparing and preserving, you can safely put any wide pan and sterilize many cans at a time. You have achieved beauty!

Thank you girls! So very convenient! And you are not afraid that the little one is running close.
Vinnitsa
Creamy, however, not everything is in place, because we will outweigh the lockers, hide the wires. This is so far - the working environment.
ElenaMK
Oh, how I cry after the ride and parting with the gas stove ...
With an electric year I can not make friends, then everything is on, then it is not preparing .. I almost stopped using it, I do everything in devices
Ekaterina2
ElenaMK, as I understand you ... in the summer I live with my mother, she has an electric stove. How can I cook on it for a long time! I have a Bosch gas hob with 4 burners, a cast iron grate.
Vinnitsa
ElenaMK, do you have induction or glass ceramics?
Creamy
Vinnitsa, make the sockets above the worktop waterproof with spring-loaded covers. Well, it is very convenient and, most importantly, calmly, that when mixing with a mixer or something else, no splashes or an accidental drop will fall into the outlet, because the kitchen is still a wet area, and safety is above all.
Vinnitsa
Creamy, thanks for your participation, we will move the sockets to another place (further to the right), just before we had a free-standing stove to the left of 20 cm. Further to the right I have a combine and a multicooker, so we will install a new outlet closer to these devices. And these sockets were just with lids, until they broke off.

Can anyone have experience, tell me how gas and glass behave.
I am looking for a gas cooking domino, I like tempered glass very much, but how "friendly" it is with gas
I'm worried that it will crack
Mariana Eve
Irina, will not crack, do not be afraid, this is done for gas burners! It is completely safe, if something heavy does not fall. And experience says that there is no need to take a black panel, all the dust particles are on it, all the droplets are visible! Or rub it endlessly, but still some kind of stains are visible, or do not pay attention.
Stafa
After 2 years, gas on my glass ordered me to live a long time, the glass exploded, fortunately, I was not there. In the topic, the built-in hob has recently posted.
Quote: Stafa

The music did not play for a long time ..... A few days ago I was frying pancakes and during baking I moved away from the stove and heard such a loud bang. Returning to the stove, the panel shattered, the glass exploded. How did these panels get me. I read it on the internet, I was not the only one tumbling in the field. Now I live with two comforts and a designer foil upper. Thinking how to live on.
Mist
Stafa, Svetlana, what a horror.
So I am very afraid of this, more than one such review comes across.
I'll think
Mariana Eve
What a horror! Stafawhat is your brand? We have Whirlpool, third year, everything is fine.
PalmP
Gas on glass is beautiful, of course. Especially on black. With solid cast iron grates. This Hearth, IMHO. But. Having a black Siemens domino, I can definitely say that functionally, with a sufficient variety of assistants, it more than suits me - I very rarely use two burners at the same time. But caring for her requires constant. To wipe it off as soon as it cools is almost impossible for me. If this is not done, the panel will quickly lose its specularity. Used all the specials. the means that I found - some almost return it to its former shine. But if something sugar escapes (compote, for example, jam) and is not immediately washed off, it is eaten forever. My hob already has such matte bald spots - not critical, but the gloss is not the same ...
Stafa
I had sigmund stein, there was black glass. A couple of weeks before the explosion, a strange crack appeared, and I couldn't understand where it was coming from. But since there are a lot of noises in the house, a butterfly gags from the wind at the hood, then siding clicks in the cold, I did not determine the localization of crackling and clicks by ear, but they were clearly heard in the kitchen area.
Mariana Eve
Stafa, did not write to the manufacturer, did you try to return it?
Stafa
I have a 3-year warranty on it, but what will it give. I didn’t and I don’t want to, I don’t want a new glass. They are located in Moscow, and even if something is decided, it is cheaper for me to throw it out than to go to them and change it. When I bought it, I already had that the cast iron grate was broken, and I decided for three months with the exchange, since there was a good fairy, through whom they exchanged for me with the thorny path of transferring the old grate with documents to Moscow and exchanging it for a new one.
Mariana Eve
Svetlana, it is clear, that means this brand is unreliable, and besides, it is necessary to fool, we will know. Did it explode straight with flying debris or just cracked?
Stafa
It exploded into small fragments, but flew only within a radius of 10cm. There were no further fragments, and even those were few. But the view was, instead of glass, a continuous mess of pieces of glass. There, a heat-resistant foil film is glued to the bottom of the glass, and almost all the fragments remained on it.
Mist
Girls, are tempered glass and glass ceramics different surfaces or the same?
Bijou
Mist, of course different. All electric hobs are glass ceramics. And some gas ones too. Only this option costs much more than plain glass. You can tell by the look in the window - ceramics (black) have such a reddish tint when viewed from a strong angle.
Mist
Lena, I understand, thanks)
I understand that glass ceramics are stronger and more reliable?
Bijou
Yeah. It never explodes at all.But if you drop something heavy, then, of course, it can crack, where without it ...

Forum users! In the media today, information flashes about the recall of nearly thirty thousand Bosch gas stoves sold from 2005 to 2015. Try to contact the company for your safety.

I quote the LOOK:
The company "BSH Bytovye Pribory" (Bosch) has agreed on a program of voluntary recall of 29 thousand 647 gas stoves in connection with the possibility of an explosion, according to the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart).
It is reported that slabs sold in Russia from 2006 to 2015 are subject to recall. We are talking about both free-standing combined gas stoves and built-in gas hobs of the Bosch brand, according to the Rosstandart website.

The reason is the possibility of cracks or breakage of adapters (fittings) that are connected to the gas pipeline or a source of liquefied gas. In addition, the plug for the unused adapter connection may be damaged, which could result in gas leakage and sometimes a gas explosion.

It is noted that the manufacturer's representative, LLC BSH Bytovye Pribory, will provide notification to the owners of gas stoves and hobs that are subject to the review via the media, the Internet, or by answering consumer questions by calling the hotline: 8-800-200-29-61.

Consumers are also advised to stop using these Bosch-branded gas stoves and submit a request on the website or report via the hotline. According to Rosstandart, new, serviceable parts will be sent and it is recommended to call a service organization to replace damaged parts. The costs will be covered by the manufacturer's representative.

Anchic, fuuuh .. We have front controls, so everything is fine. Thanks for the link and your attention!
Anchic
Lena, you are welcome. I myself sighed with relief when I followed this link from the news.
Nikusya
And I cannot follow the link; writes error 404
And what does it mean - control from the front, and where else can it be? We, too, in front ... Shaw to do what, where to look?
