Kystyby (Tatar cuisine)

Ingredients

For the test:
Flour
Water
Salt
Eggs 2 pcs.
For filling:
Ordinary mashed potatoes
with the addition of fried onions
Butter for coating

Cooking method

  • We knead ordinary dumplings dough (I used HP)
  • Divide the dumplings dough into pieces. Roll each piece into a flat cake, 2-3 mm thick.
  • Fry in a frying pan WITHOUT OIL, i.e. dry.
  • Coat the fried flatbread with butter, put mashed potatoes on one half, cover with the other half and coat with oil again.
