Ingredients

fresh quince
fresh pears

Cooking method

  • I also made quince-pear marshmallows. Delicious !
  • For 4 kg of quince and 3 kg of pears, cut into random pieces, I took 1 kg of sugar. I poured the quince and pear with water, added 2 lemons, cut in half.
  • Boiled until soft. I drained the water, twisted it with a blender (in parts in a saucepan), added sugar and boiled it in the basin for 5-7 minutes to dissolve the sugar. It is imperative to interfere, otherwise it spits heavily!
  • I laid it out on trays for marshmallows in a rather thick layer - it still half dried! It dried, however, for a long time - three days with breaks for the night. First, at a low temperature, so that it dries up and cools down (because it is foolishly decomposed directly hot), then at a high temperature. And three hours - at low.
  • Quince pear marshmallow
  • Twice I turned the plates over, gently lifting them with a spatula, because the top dries up, and the bottom on the pallet is soft.
  • Quince pear marshmallow

Note

It turned out very tasty! when stacked in trays, I found that some of the quince pieces were not completely ground. I left it that way. But this did not spoil the taste at all, it is even pleasant when a piece comes across. You can put more or less sugar, according to your own taste.
