Ingredients

Egg 6 pcs.
Margarine 200 g
Sugar 1 tbsp. (maybe a little less)
Vanillin
Flour 1/2 st
Starch 1/2 st

Cooking method

  • The recipe is designed for about 45-50 small tubes (from one tablespoon of the poured dough). I usually do half a serving.

  • Preparation
  • 1) Grind sugar with eggs;
  • 2) Add melted margarine (put in the microwave or in a water bath);
  • 3) Pour in flour, starch and a pinch of vanillin (optional). Mix everything thoroughly (you can do it with a whisk, without a mixer).
  • 4) Put a spoonful of dough on a preheated waffle iron and close, press, bake. We take it out and turn it hot into a thin tube. Next, pour the next portion.
  • The waffles are VERY tasty, so I don’t use any filling, but I roll them up with "cigarettes". It is also tasty with additives - poppy, cocoa.

But the next day, the tubes are slightly damp. Probably because the humidity is high (rains).

GalinkaMalinka, I'm glad that I liked the recipe! But, judging by the photos, you pour more than 1 spoonful of dough on one waffle, hence the smaller number of waffles. I bake and brown the waffles more (in the photo, where you show how you twist, the waffle is generally pale), then they are more crispy and do not damp.

I pour in 1 tablespoon. But the thick dough turned out, I added some water (you can see a little). I will try to bake harder next time there are already 3 ice cream cones left, I will probably bake again today :) Thank you Irzochka for your responsiveness.

And I baked "hearts" in a waffle iron for thick waffles. What yummy !!! The whole apartment smells of vanilla. I held some waffles longer and the surface became crispy! She folded the "hearts" in two pieces and layered them with apricot confiture. Thank you very much from the whole family!

The starch was originally in the recipe. Thanks to him, the waffles are crispy.
I won't tell you about the cream, since I make them in small cigars without any filling at all. I don't have time to come up with the filling, the kids won't give it :-). We like to add fillers to the dough for variety - poppy seeds, cocoa, sesame seeds.
