Cooking method

  • Epigraph:

  • Mash, originality is always valued more than copyright!

  • Sens

  • Well, let's be original!

  • Prokofiev. FROM

  • Royal Porridge

  • Remember how it was?
  • “... A frightened servant ran in:
  • “His Majesty is demanding semolina. Right now! Immediately!
  • Another servant rushed in:
  • “His Majesty is knocking on the table with a spoon!”

  • And who could cook the tastiest, fluffiest porridge worthy of the royal table?
  • Right! Barbatsutsa!

  • Royal Porridge

  • And how did she do it?

  • “- Milk! snapped Barbatsutsa.
  • She overturned a jug of milk over a saucepan, generously pouring milk over the hot stove.
  • - Salt! Sugar! Groats! - I heard from the clubs of milk steam.
  • All this Barbatsutsa immediately, without looking, poured into the pan.
  • - Woods!
  • The flame roared.
  • Barbatsutsa perched on a stool. Her elbows, green like unripe bananas, flashed through the clubs of white steam. A higher barbatsutsa rolled up her sleeves and started stirring the porridge with the old ladle ladder.
  • The bubbles swelled and burst deafeningly, as if a war had begun in a saucepan. Soot flew to the ceiling and fell like black butterflies into porridge.
  • “Done,” Barbatsutsa mumbled.
  • - Dear Barbatsutsa! - the head chef said with emotion. - You know, semolina is our king's favorite dish. And the semolina that you cook is divine, incomparable. You probably know the secret of how to cook it ... "

  • Now attention! We will find out the secret. How should you cook royal porridge? Carefully, look around, is there a Slysh nearby?

  • Royal Porridge

  • Have you looked? Are they eavesdropping on us? Exactly? Then we read:

  • “- Semolina porridge should be thoroughly mixed, stirred, stirred. That's the whole secret! "

  • Now let's go to the kitchen and start creating a masterpiece!

  • 1. Mix milk and cream. We put on a small fire. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, salt, semolina and carefully pour into milk.

  • Royal Porridge

  • 2. And we begin, as the dear Barbatsutsa teaches, to stir. At first slowly, as the milk boils, our movements become more energetic.

  • Royal Porridge

  • Royal Porridge

  • 3. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, (while we do not stop interfering). We remove from the fire. Cover with a lid, let the semolina infuse for 10 minutes under the lid. The porridge turned out to be delicious with a delicate creamy taste.
  • Barbatsutsa had a favorite ladle, only with her could she create so that the porridge turned out "white, fluffy, like whipped cream", while we, living in the 21st century, have many devices, including a blender. So let's use it.
  • Divide the porridge into 2 parts, beat the first part until cloudy, add 2 teaspoons of strawberry jam to the second, and beat it too and get a pale pink porridge.

  • Royal Porridge

  • Royal Porridge

  • Royal Porridge

  • Now, in a beautiful royal cup, put white porridge, pink on it and decorate with various delicacies.
  • And ... voila! Here it is ... porridge worthy of the royal table.

What a good checker !!!

Is this a current for the kings, or can others be accommodated?
elena_nice74
daughter saw the picture and said - cook, yummy
Joy
Oh, how deliciously described ... - I also wanted such a porridge.
My husband does not eat semolina in any form - he was overfed in early childhood. Well, I'll do it for myself, for one, as for the queen. Maybe I'll also treat the "royal" son.
mka
As soon as I saw the name, I immediately remembered my favorite cartoon "Patchwork and the Cloud". Thank you.
Joy
Thank you, Suslya, huge. I ate porridge with pleasure. Delicious. I didn't have a royal cup and candied fruits, strawberry jam too - so I took a few frozen klibniches and whipped them with sugar - but I felt close to the royal person.
I apologize for the photo - it's very cloudy here.
Royal Porridge

Mom, dear, what can fantasy do from ordinary porridge !!!!
True, I also have a recipe, in a simpler way, for those in a hurry. My friend to her children stirred semolina porridge with an ordinary whisk. Without fanaticism, so thoughtfully. Although, of course, the porridge turned out to be not royal, but for ordinary children, but it tasted good!

With a whisk, yes! I do it too, very convenient. I have a small whisk, it is convenient for them to beat 1 egg or stir the sauce right in the pan ... But literally spend another 5 seconds on a blender and the result Here you throw an idea for your girlfriend, I think she will appreciate ...

By the way, I learned how to cook semolina porridge from Barbatsutsa. There is still one secret that many do not know. Salt must be added to the porridge.

Gopher, kudos to you for your creativity!

In my family and in the kindergarten where I went, they cooked without salt. This is probably why, I still only cook semolina porridge, but I never eat

seemingly the simplest royal semolina
and so many subtleties ...
My husband taught me to add salt to milk porridge - and since then I have been eating them for 20 years.
sometimes marriage is very informative in the culinary sense

Suslechka! your recipe is the best! I will vote for him
(although I still liked the meatballs there ... I should have divided the competitive dishes into categories - first, second, dessert)
Rimma71
People, help !!!!! And where to vote ??? : girl_red: Porridge - mortality, and delivery - in general !!!
Suslya
According to the terms of the competition:

so we can't vote
Rimma71
Oh, sorry !!! And I really wanted to vote .... I was looking for a button with the inscription VOTE for a very long time, I could not find it. I thought I just can't see it!
Dana
Nda-ah! And then I thought that I really understand a lot about semolina porridge.
But even with a blender, but in a glass !!! Thanks for the idea, I went to explore new horizons. By the way: I bought semolina a couple of days ago, and it is already in lumps. And she rubbed it with her hands and smashed it with a whisk, but all the same muck. Damn, I threw out the packaging, who the manufacturer didn’t remember, bought a lot of FAQs (I don’t do empty flights, you know) My friend also ran into it. So you need to take a closer look.
rinishek
did not understand .... what kind of competition is discriminatory-racial? !!!!
the lower classes object !!!

Well, I didn't read the terms well, neeeeeee, comrades THIS IS AN UNCLEAR competition !!!!

"Why are you all a slave, but a slave ..... this is a dirty word and I ask him not to apply to me ..."

And here, in Ukraine, I saw only "Nordic" semolina of the "T" grade ... And I read excellent reviews about it from mummies, babies ...
And so, basically, the brand "MT", and not all manufacturers generally indicate the brand.
milvok
Perhaps it will suit my princess too! The main thing is to mount the candied fruits harder so as not to catch them without porridge.

And you porridge in a transparent bowl and candied fruits in the middle, on the bottom layer, i.e. And so that on the sides you can see through the glass ... Until he gets to them, he will eat half of it ...

Oh, yes! Exactly! Only in such a green box ... It is also made of durum wheat.
Elenka
I haven't tried MacFoo, but I compared it to Nordic. In terms of protein content, Nordic won. Pts. delicious porridge is obtained from this brand, even I ate semolina porridge, although for the last 40 years I could not even look at it - overfed can be seen in childhood.
Dana
Thanks for the links to Test Purchase. Now I will look more closely at the manufacturer. But in general, in the package it is not visible, lumps or not. The bag is tightly packed. But at home, when you pour it into a container, you can immediately see that the mass is not uniform, lumps are 2-3 mm.
sweetka
ohhhhhh ... this is porridge ... Auntie Barbatsutsa Wort! You are the best !!!!!!

Great idea!!!! Thank you!
natapit
the royal porridge is good !!! kids (and not kids) will eat with pleasure !!!
Osyanya
Nordic cereal is coarse-grained and it is not made from durum wheat, but Makfa is what you need, just in general, imported hard grades are good, so I accidentally took PANZANI - it turned out to be a gruel tastier than Makfa, in general, you need to look for, try, it's just like with flour.
And if homemade fat milk, then cream is not needed, it itself is like cream!
elena_nice74
I completely agree that Nordic semolina is the best, I bought it for a long time, but I remember, and now I haven't seen it in stores for a long time, it is for the ROYAL KASHKA!
Sasha1616
In a person's fantasy)) Well done)
Manya Zayka
My boy needs to cook, maybe he will eat with such beauty)) Thank you very much
tana33
Tatiana, thank you very much for the recipe))) I cooked it simply, without frills))) the proportions are exactly what you need
porridge is not thick and not liquid, exactly as it should be in my understanding

I don't like semolina myself. and very rarely I cook, only if my men stick around to weld and weld, so I always start looking for proportions)))
I took the recipe to the bookmarks, you look and I will cook more often)))
