Girls (and boys, essno!), Have bought an IR dryer. The principle of operation is infrared rays. I'll tell you, this is something! This is a kind of locker. It has four pallets and one pallet for drying almost finished product.

I bought it not so long ago. Advised on one forum.

Here I look at her. And I type in what is written on the cover: "Household electrical drying cabinet with thermostat" Dachnik-4 ". In my opinion, there are different Dachniks. Depending on the volume. 4 is the largest. Unfortunately, I did not keep the link to the store that delivers. But I don’t think this is a problem. I ordered on the Internet: they brought it the next day. It costs about 5 thousand. Warranty - 2 years.
Dries with infrared rays at a temperature of 35 to 100 degrees. The result is a soft, even slightly damp product (if not overdried). During drying, all bacteria and other nasty things are completely killed: they cannot stand the rays. Therefore, if the fruits are your own, you can not wash them. Mushrooms also need not be washed. As a result, the drying quality is very good: bacteria do not grow, so it can be dried for a long time at a low temperature.

A pleasant "side effect" - you can cook in it: diet, stews and reheat food. Well, this is probably for summer residents. I, frankly, prefer our Multicooker. The performance is very high. In two days I dried 4.5 kg of plums (this is already in dry form, but in "wet" form it was 10-12 kilograms). For one load, you can vpendyur 4-5 kilograms there, which significantly reduces labor costs.

Good pallets: made of stainless steel with anodized screws. That is, you can safely soak in water, wash: durable and reliable.

Ahhh! I forgot: it works silently.

Good morning!
My sister bought herself an electric dryer for mushrooms and lingonberry leaves, and of forest berries too. It is called "Household drying electrical cabinet with a thermostat" Dachnik-4 "", it is produced by JSC "Radiozavod", apparently the city of Perm. She said that this "summer resident" is better than others, because he has an infrared dryer, and analogs - a conventional, thermal one. In the infrared, useful substances are better preserved than in the usual one. She bought hers for 3900 rubles, in Moscow. in St. Petersburg they are almost a thousand more expensive (due to the season). "Dachnik-1, 2, 3" is also not bad, but the 4th has a stainless steel grill (that's why it is more expensive), and in the earlier versions it is made of galvanized steel. Its dimensions are about 60 by 45 by 30 cm. He says that it is very convenient and the mushrooms are dried even for an hour and a half less than it is written in the advertising brochure. I have not heard of Western counterparts.

A little higher, someone was interested in the Dachnik-4 dryer
I bought it in the spring (out of greed - I was afraid until the summer it would not be worth it in the store).
Already dried strawberries, black currants, red currants, apricots, apples, tried pears.
Apples, pears - it dries without any problems at all.
Apricots - whole dries well, those that are soft - a little longer naturally.
Currants are capricious in drying: the best option is to turn the dryer on and off. That is, turn it on at "3" for half an hour, and then let the berries drain - because the berries burst and juice flows out.
Also, to make it easier to wash the trays, I lay down gauze or cotton fabric.
As for the technical shortcomings, the manufacturer equips the dryer with a cord that is too thin for this power. As a result, the cord heats up - not critical, within acceptable limits, but still.
The view is quite decent - although I like rectangular shapes in technique.

Everything! It is finished!
Yesterday I bought Dachnik-4.

It is something! In size - like an office bedside table! Such an iron cabinet.
But it gives the impression of a reliable device. And the instructions say that it should work for 10 years without problems.

Yesterday I could not resist, I collected what was at home, washed, cut and dry-dry-dry.
It turned out for two marshmallows. Everything was dried on gauze.

What I saw in the morning:
The apple (one was) dried up remarkably - delicious apple chips turned out.
Almost all of the strawberries are dry, except for those pieces that were cut into large pieces. She's so dry! If it were not for the gauze, I would have had to tear it off from the pallet for a long time, and then soak the pallet. But everything worked out fine with gauze. The strawberry chips are super yummy! It is a pity that there were very few strawberries. Moreover, the strawberries were a little crumpled - this must be quickly applied somewhere, otherwise it will deteriorate. But when dried it was very tasty and there were no traces of "substandard".
And there were also a few apricots. I did not dry them in halves, but also cut them into slices. They dried up the worst of all - only half were dry by morning. But I cut them the largest. Delicious too. But it doesn't look like dried apricots. Perhaps because I cut the apricots and not dried them in halves. Dry apricots in halves for a long time, but I wanted to get the result overnight.

For the weekend I will buy a few kg of apricots at a cheaper price on the market and try to dry it, as it is written in the instructions. In the meantime, I bought some apples, the cheapest ones are drying now.
Apples are easiest for me so far - they will definitely dry out overnight. I love apple chips very much. I used to do it in the oven, but now, in drying, it is much easier and more convenient to dry them! I'll take the cost for work - why not sweets for tea?
Then, when I get to the market, I will take more apples (and not only) and I will harvest them for the future.
In general - I liked the result. It dries well, absolutely silently, eats little energy (moreover, it turns on / off itself during the drying process - additional savings).
And as a result, the product pleases with taste and quality.
And how many possibilities! My dream is to dry a lot of different fruits and berries over the summer.
And then in bread, in porridge and just for tea .. Beauty!

Girls, is it better to dry or freeze black currants?
And if you dry, then put parchment paper on the pallets? I have a Dachnik4, I barely washed the pallets with a metal mesh after the strawberries ... maybe put paper under the currants?

I dried and frozen currants. I dried it rather for an experiment. No paper - just on a pallet.

I also have a Dachnik-4. It has been working almost non-stop for over a month. Also standing on the balcony. I'm happy as a mammoth !!

I made marshmallows on paper. Super!
Raspberry with strawberry, blueberry and black currant with cherry. My berries, grind in mashed potatoes, sugar to taste (it must be borne in mind that the candy will be sweeter). Then I make a "protvin" out of baking paper - I bend the edges by about 5 cm and staple them with a stapler. I put this structure on a pallet (I have it almost on the entire pallet in size), pour berry puree there, level it out. I put it in the dryer and wait.
Depending on the layer of puree, it dries for 2-3 days.
Then I take it out, for a minute in the refrigerator (this way it is much easier to remove the marshmallow from the paper), remove the paper and roll the marshmallow into a tube.
Vkusnaaa! ..

I dried cherries, apricots and plums dried (in halves - I’m too lazy to plan them on chips, since the drying is silent - I don’t care how long it dries). Strawberries and raspberries dried a little - in winter, indulge in tea or porridge. I make apples with chips, I really like apple chips. And they dry quickly. Peaches in slices - also very tasty chips are obtained .. Kiwi tried to dry - it turned out interesting, so sour.
In general, the harvesting of fruits and berries is now underway.
As the season ends - I'll move on to vegetables.

And my pallets are very easy for me - I put everything in the bath, put one on top of the other, turn on the shower for spraying - the hottest water - and close the curtain. After 10 minutes I come - it remains only to wipe a little with a sponge - and all the pallets are clean! It only remains to dry.

So, sir, about the Summer Resident. Has the pastila been dried already? If so, then point by point pliz, how and what, I'm still a newbie in this business. The truth has already dried a lot of apples. And another question. You write dried for several days. It's like, without a break or what? Or turn it off - turn it on after a while?

Congratulations, Summer Resident is a cool dryer!
She made me happy almost all summer and will work in the fall.

I dry without interruption. Usually I put "2" - such a mode in which everything can be dried. Let some things dry longer, but I am in no hurry to go anywhere and I do not have a wholesale production of dried fruits. And what I set and forgot - just come up once in the morning and in the evening, see how my beauty is doing there - this is very important for me. In addition, it itself turns on / off during the drying process. As the temperature gains, it turns off, then it cools down - it turns on again. So she does not eat energy continuously.
I already wrote about marshmallow here, I will repeat my previous post:

Just take the fruit, peel it, take out the seeds and make mashed potatoes. Taste - if sour - add sugar. So that mashed potatoes can be eaten with pleasure. (You can even add sugar - dried candy will be sweeter than mashed potatoes.) Here is mashed potatoes and in the dryer. The layer is no more than 1/2 cm. Otherwise it will dry for a long time.
As for the berries, I was convinced that for the berry marshmallow, the berry puree must be wiped through a sieve so that there are no seeds in the marshmallow. (They get in the way if you leave them. I made raspberry marshmallows in such a rage.)
The rest is the same as with fruit. Sugar to taste and into the dryer.

Dry for a couple of days. In any case, I dried for 2-3 days in my Summer resident (temperature 50-60 degrees). In general - dry land to the condition "can be rolled into a tube."

For ease of removing the marshmallow from paper, I have already given advice - after the dryer, put the marshmallow on paper in the refrigerator for a couple of minutes. The paper is then easier to remove.

Addition - if you have never dried on paper in the Summer House:
I take baking paper, make such a "trough" out of it (I fold the edges by 5 centimeters and fasten them with a stapler) to the size of the pallet and pour mashed potatoes into it. Then I level it - and into the dryer.
mish
By the way, about the Summer Resident ... Korean-style carrots - I soak dried in cold water for half an hour, it turns into ordinary one. I drain the water, then the herbs-seasonings-marinade - it turns out super! You cannot distinguish from the usual one if you do not know that dried is used. Why use dried? Because it was dried at a price of 5 rubles / kg in the freshly grown autumn, and now on the shelves it is old at an insane price or GMO-Dutch. I dry in Dachnik-4 Berner grated on a grater - for two years now, food has been delighted with the blanks that my dryer gives me, and how they turn into an almost initial product when soaked (practically - this is because until the complete resemblance to the same carrots it takes not half an hour in a humid environment, but about half a day - well, in fact, she makes up for it under the marinade). Spring, vitamins, fiber ...
Romashka80
Who has an electric dryer Dachnik - 4 or 2, tell me, must all pallets be filled? Or, you can lay a couple, and the rest will be empty?
I think, buy Dachnik-4 or Dachnik-2. It may be that I will use all a couple of pallets, and the rest will be empty. Loading there is 1 kg. like.
What do you think is better to take? And yet, I read in Dachnik-2 one pull-out pallet and one removable one, how do you understand this?
mish
Take Dachnik-4. Of course, in winter, two pallets would be enough for you (there is nothing special to dry except for crackers -), but in summer one dryer will definitely not be enough. It is not necessary to fill the pallets completely (you can dry it and only on one pallet), but there is such an opportunity (and vegetables do not stick together!), In contrast to wind-driven dryers. As for the removable pallet ... it is also in Dachnik-4 (the fifth in a row - at the very top - and is removed from the top, and does not slide out like the other four). For me it serves for final drying, when I have to dry with a conveyor - in large quantities. There is another one at the very bottom - solid iron, not mesh - but it is only so that the products that spilled through the nets from other pallets can be easier to remove and they do not lie on the bottom. That is, a total of six pallets: the lower one for hygiene, four main ones, the fifth one is the uppermost one, equal to the main ones in size, but it will always be with the lowest temperature, because it is at the top. Decide for yourself, Romashka80, and I recommend Dachnik-4 to you.
And about loading 1kg ... who told you that ...? I loaded several kilograms of carrots on each pallet - at one time a third of a standard bag is included in the dryer (such as sugar in 50 kg they sell - carrots in such a bag are about 35-40 kg: here and count - it was possible to shove up to half of the bag sometimes (so that vegetables are not missing), and this is by the way and stated in the instructions!). And the result was excellent - everything dried up flawlessly and did not stick together - only stirring occasionally.
mish
Breaks in, breaks in! Do not doubt ! True, it depends on what: tomatoes, for example, more than one layer, will not be able to dry. But eggplants, onions, carrots - you can pile a full pallet with a slide (I have slices planed on the Berner), the main thing is not to forget to stir up so that it dries out evenly (well, at least once every 3-4 hours). The dryer is my super helper! This is a wonderful gift for yourself for the New Year! For me, it turned out to be more useful than all other techniques.
Kitty
Romashka80-if there is a summer residence, do not even hesitate, take "Summer resident-4", you will not regret

I also doubted whether she really needed such a big one, the season was over, I'm not overjoyed!
Dried everything - apples, pears, apricots, raspberries, peppers, onions, carrots, gooseberries, herbs ...
The quality is obtained - delight, when cooking, you cannot distinguish dried from fresh
And what kind of raisins it turns out!
And, I'll tell you, sometimes its volume was not enough for me ...

At the dacha it may be with the harvest that it is thick, or it is empty. This summer there were only a lot of apples.
I don't have a summer cottage at all - during the season I buy fruits and vegetables at a vegetable warehouse. Or friends who have a dacha give some of their surplus. That's right, Kitty says, even this dryer (and she is a champion in terms of storage capacity!) Is not enough during the season. My husband and I want to take the second one in March. In April, they can no longer be found - they are being bought up.
By the way, Romashka80, you mentioned apples ... This year my dryer (in addition to vegetables) dried apple chips around the clock (apples in a meat grinder, spread in a thick layer up to 2 cm on baking paper and dry until dry). You know how they fly away now !!! Children don't eat candy, and these chips disappear instantly! And for health it is obviously more beneficial. No wonder I hunchbacked with these apples - they appreciated it, and it's nice, and most importantly, delicious !!!

But here, I suppose, we are talking about a significant design flaw of Dachnik-4: since the fruits are irradiated with infrared rays from above, and the fan is not provided, then it is the top layer that receives all the heat.
No, in Dachnik-4 it is a little different (drying levels are counted from the bottom): the heating elements are located at the very bottom, under the 1st level, and between the 2nd and 3rd. Ie.For example, I get it like this: the 2nd level dries the fastest (heat comes from the bottom from the first heater and from the top - from the second), the third level is about the same (located immediately above the second heater). Then, according to the degree of dryness, level 1 (just above the first heater), and then the very last - 4th. There is also an additional, topmost, 5th. Since it is the farthest from the heater, it dries the slowest on it.
Quote: Jktu

As a consequence, the described des the situation is quite normal and natural, but it can be completely corrected not only by "work with handles", but also by any air circulation (for example, by means of a fan).
To be honest, I do not see any particular difference in this regard between the Summer Resident and ordinary fan dryers (I have both the Summer Resident and Selmer): the design of the device determines where what dries faster. In Selmer: the fan is at the bottom, because the degree of shrinkage and the speed of the drying process respectively decrease and lengthen with the height of each pallet (the driest fruits are at the bottom, the wettest fruits are at the top). Along the outer circle of the pallet, where heat is chased from the fan, it dries faster than in the center.
The work on re-sorting, compaction, etc. of the dried products is no less than in the Dachnik.
Frankly, I do it once (in the Summer Resident, in Selmer): I put it on drying, when part of the fruits / vegetables / berries / ... dries up to the state I need, I pour out everything that has been dried, compact the residues and fill the freed trays with new ones portions fresh. Usually the remainder to dry is about 1 / 3-1 / 4.

Thank you (!!!), des for an objective assessment (he himself did not guess up to such an obvious defect).

I believe that we (newcomers) are not at the rally "every sandpiper praises his swamp" and really need sober objective assessments.

You really try, dear forum users, all hope is for you!

My advice is this: if you have very large amounts of fruits / vegetables / berries for processing, then one drying will not be enough Or buy a large Summer resident, or a couple of dryers with a fan, or Isidri with additional. pallets (the last option is purely theoretical, I never used this dryer. I just read the reviews of the owners here on the forum).
I am satisfied with the option Summer resident + fan drying: for large volumes, one drying is used, when you need to dry a little or the products do not have time to disappear between the drying processes, another. Well, when there is a guard and the harvest is in full swing, both are involved, sometimes they are not enough ...
But for some things, the Summer Resident is much better. For example, pitted cherries dries perfectly and quickly! When there is not enough time or energy to process and release cherries from the pits, I just wash the berries and throw them to dry. In winter, it will go to compotes! (although they like to gnaw at me)

Hello! Admit a newcomer to your team?
Yesterday I became the happy owner of Dachnik-2, given that I am from Kiev, I do not even want to remember what this joy cost me
I read the topic all at once, and therefore a mess in my head.
Yesterday I put the apricots in halves with the skin down on the wire rack, pre-blanched, but I wish I hadn't done this - the plum lost its skin and went into the marshmallow with a ballast, but I wanted it in halves, the apricot also crawled under my hands when removing the seeds. I put apricot-plum marshmallow on the bottom. By the way, the mode for apricot was taken directly from the lid of the Summer Resident - 3 hours of work in 1 mode, 3 hours of rest, 3 hours - 2 hours, 3 hours of rest, 10 hours - 3 modes. I already understood the mistake in the evening, but decided to bring everything to the end as an experiment in order to get at least some experience. The halves, even in 8 hours on mode 3, were almost all ready, not dried apricots, of course, for some reason it was very sour, and the apricot was just honey, but I and the child still like it, the cherries dried up well, we need to put it on for less time, but the marshmallow suffered of course, since it was clearly not her regime was - 3, i.e.
For the future, science is only 2 mode. I didn't want to mix smells, but I had to be afraid of something else. The result is that the middle is overdried and slightly burnt.
My disappointment is the instruction. In the internet I wanted to download in advance - I did not find it, but here is a book for a couple of pages
A big request to the owners of the Summer Resident, tell me pliz on what modes and + - how long it takes to dry:
tomatoes, zucchini, broccoli, col. cabbage, eggplant, bell pepper.
Carrots and onions in 3 settings?
Am I right that you can dry marshmallow in mode 2?
I put broccoli on mode 2, zucchini in a slide (I read that it does not stick together and it seems like it is not possible in 1 layer, I stir it every hour) and plum-quince marshmallow with walnuts. It turned out a little more cm in height and I am mentally ready for long-term drying. By the way, I plan to store the pastille in a roll in baking paper, and when should I roll it up? Maybe better in foil? Or will it oxidize? Immediately still barely warm or let it lie down? It's just that it hardens and I'm afraid I won't fold. 1 experience was really overdried, I hope 2 will come out more plastic. I barely rolled the warm one, even it seemed to crack in the middle. Now I'm afraid I might as well choke in the paper.
Thanks in advance for your advice and help. I would just be happy with any tips or any information on the Dachnik dryer.

people, work was carried out here to find out where you can buy the Dachnik4 dryer and its modification Pennant.
Everything turned out to be simple. Call these factories.
For Pennant this 🔗 sales department phone number.
For the summer resident4 it is 🔗 for electrical household goods.

The pennant was found in Nizhny Novgorod, in the city of Vorsma. the cost is 5500 and delivery is 200 rubles.
This is the dealer of the Vympel plant.

Zvezda askony I didn’t dry bread for lack of goats, but I think that it’s possible and not for long, because there are several degrees of heating. And if you consider that there are several levels, then you can dry up decently in a day. Why don't you want to dry with the oven?

[And why don't you want to dry with the oven?
So her oven is not there!
There is an Airfryer - but it doesn't fit a lot at a time.
And we take two bags of unformatted bread a week. Dried in the attic - but for a long time - and the gray invaders found out.
such fat ones descend from the roof - I am amazed -
So you need to dry more quickly and keep it in an iron tank.
Again, the summer resident has less energy consumption than the AG and it works silently
Maybe one of the happy owners will try a piece of the store's (this is important!) Bread to dry?

bread is being dried! shop! I do not know how long it took - I put it with apples overnight.
oh, how happy I am with this dryer !!! You can laugh, my husband has been working for almost 10 years at the same radio plant that Dachnik makes. And I found out about the dryer from this site. I ask him "why don't I still have one?" - "Do you need it?"
The result - a dryer appeared this summer !!! now we will drink compotes all winter. It's a pity, it's too late, there were no more strawberries, currants ...

Another assistant appeared at my house
Summer resident 2. The 4th price was lifted to 9450-00
So the little brother is eating apples. Very soulful chips turn out
I haven't dried the bread yet - I have it in stock - and the apples still need to be made.

No, why did I see this topic just now? A couple of years ago, my husband and I talked about buying a Dachnik-4, and our conversation has sunk into oblivion. And today I read how great life is for the owners of this device, I already started to buy it. But all the preparations have already been made, the harvest has been harvested. What to do then? Go to the husband to work or wait again until spring. I just lost my peace and sleep.

You need to go and handle your husband. What time to waste.

You have to wait until everything is dry, prices will fall and then buy.

The wisest decision!
In winter - spring - prices will be the most humane
And now the prices are raised by the most I cant

Hello everybody!
Take me into your ranks Dvf of the year ripe, and finally purchased Summer resident 4. in the city we do not sell, I wrote out through the online store, with delivery through the shopping mall. Shipped and sent without any problems.
I was already drying grass and strawberries, I wanted to make a marshmallow, but nothing happened., Now I found it on the 1st page, I'll try now with baking paper, it didn't work with ordinary tracing paper.

Dachnik 4 ordered today, tomorrow my husband has to pick it up from the warehouse. He will bring the dryer to my dacha only on Saturday, and my hands are already itching, there are so many different thoughts in my head!

Hello, the other day I became the owner of the Dachnik-2m dryer. Today I dried tomatoes, and put a thermometer on a pull-out mesh baking sheet to measure the temperature. And I was unpleasantly surprised, in the mode between 1 and 2 there was a temperature of 61 degrees. How is anyone? Can this be counted as a marriage ?? Everything is drying up painfully quickly, even some tomatoes are burnt.
Admin

Well, 60 * C is the normal temperature for a dryer. Only in Isidri, for example, the temperature is set in three ranges 35-50-60 * С
When drying, you need to periodically check the readiness of the products, rearrange the pallets, if necessary, and remove the products if they have already dried, not to bring them to brittleness. Although, you need to look at what products are in question, the same tomatoes can be dried to chips, or can be dried.
Valentine
The temperature is normal then, but not when the mode corresponds to a temperature of 45 degrees ...
IMS
The dryer is good, but the temperature is cheating.
If you set it to 40 degrees, then it is assumed that the dryer must maintain this temperature. Let's say it heated 40, turned off, cooled down to 30, turned on and again caught up to 40. In fact, the opposite is true: you set 40, it catches up to 80, then turns off until the temperature drops to 40. So you can not count on the preservation of vitamins during low-temperature drying.
Valentine
The instructions say "During drying, as moisture is removed, the temperature of the product gradually rises", this must be taken into account and gradually reduce the regulator to 1, and do not forget to stir the product. And if you put it at night, then in general, put the regulator before reaching 1. I dried the apples overnight and everything turned out fine - they dried evenly.
IMS
It dries well, but the temperature is set incorrectly at the design stage.
If I want to keep the maximum amount of vitamins (temperature up to 40-50 degrees), then this is impossible in it.

Has anyone dried mushrooms?
I tried it today. More than half of the mushrooms have turned black, although they are still soft and not burnt. Some of the mushrooms remained in their normal brownish color. Dried not hot "2".
The black ones do not look appetizing at all, although the mushrooms were good: aspen mushrooms, boletus mushrooms.
I'm sorry I didn't freeze it.

Dried - they are very beautiful, only the output is very small

The color of the finished mushrooms depends on the type of mushrooms, in the photo there are porcini mushrooms.

Girls, please answer, bought Summer resident 4, it is urgent to dry apples and plums to start, and the instructions say that apples first in a solution of citric acid, is it necessary ??? And the plum is written SHOULD be blanched? And yet - after all, if, for example, after the solution drops from them onto the heater, is it not scary?

I dry apples for the first time, but something so little fit, less than a pound of cut on a pallet, and I did not cut thinly, with a knife. Maybe I lay out a little, I put it tightly in one layer, as they write everywhere?
Natalie K
I pour a lot on the pallet at once, without laying out in a row. in general, almost half of the bag goes into the dryer. everything dries well, especially on the lower trays.

Thank you for your answer, and how much is about - half a bag of what? I myself saw today that one layer dried out too quickly, the minimum period will be only at midnight, but everything has already dried up, and dried mainly by 2. And they did not darken at all, they are pretty. And what do you think, it can be kept working in a living room, is this infrared radiation harmful?

An ordinary large bag in which potatoes are stored. I load it to the maximum, only I try to mix it more often so that it dries evenly. In the instructions, in general, it seems that it is written to dry at 4, but I rarely put it at 4, only when the crop props up, and you need to dry a lot, but mainly at 3.
About the room ... I don't know, I haven't heard anything negative. Maybe someone else will tell you? On the contrary, it seems that infrared rays have a bactericidal effect.

I put her in the corridor on the 2nd floor, so she gave off so much heat there that I could feel it even in the morning. So I thought it would be nice to rearrange the room until we drown this heat is not superfluous.
