Pumpkin with minced meat and tomato sauce

Ingredients

Pumpkin 700-800 g
Minced meat 350-400 g
Onion 1 PC.
Garlic 1 prong
Tomato paste 1 tbsp. l.
Salt taste
Ground pepper taste
Hard cheese 100 g

Cooking method

  • My pumpkin, clean, cut into slices no more than 5-7 mm thick. If the slices are large and tall, they can be cut in half. Salt all the slices, pepper in a bowl and stir to distribute salt and pepper over all slices. We spread the pumpkin slices in a baking dish, in a checkerboard pattern, so that there are small gaps so that the slices are not close to each other (my shape was slightly larger than necessary, so the casserole turned out low if you take a smaller and deeper form, then the casserole can be made higher - this matter is regulated by the height of the pumpkin slices).
  • Pumpkin with minced meat and tomato sauce
  • Stew the minced meat with a small amount of water in a saucepan (you can do it without water, but in your own juice, so to speak), stirring occasionally. Salt, pepper, add chopped onions there, simmer until the onions are cooked. 1 tbsp. l. with a slide of tomato paste, dilute with water (somewhere 2-3 tbsp. l.) and pour into the minced meat, mix and simmer for another 5-7 minutes. Turn off and add chopped garlic there, mix.
  • Put the minced meat in the form on the pumpkin, spread it with a spoon over the entire surface and put the form in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-45 minutes. It is better to cover the top of the mold with foil so that the minced meat does not bake too quickly. We taste the readiness of the pumpkin with a knife. When the pumpkin is ready, take the mold out of the oven, remove the foil, stick the casserole with grated cheese on top and set for another 10 minutes until a cheese crust forms.

Note

and is adapted for the Minus 60 power supply system. If you do not eat according to the system and you are not afraid of frying, then you can not stew the minced meat, but fry it.
Instead of tomato paste, you can take tomatoes, scald them, peel them, chop them in a blender and make a sauce from them further according to the recipe.
