Crumbly curd cake

Ingredients

cottage cheese 0.5kg
eggs 2 pcs
sugar 1 / 2-1 glass
flour 1 glass
starch 1 tbsp. the spoon
baking powder for the dough 1. tsp spoon
butter 150-170 gr

Cooking method

  • First, we prepare the filling:
  • Stir the cottage cheese thoroughly with sugar (1 / 4-1 / 2 cup, whoever loves sweets), eggs and starch (I do this with a mixer). You can add dried fruits, lemon zest.
  • 130 grams of butter from the freezer, grate ice on a coarse grater (the only inconvenience of the recipe, with this operation, hands are very cold).
  • Pour flour, 1/4 cup sugar and baking powder into the butter. Mix everything with a knife or fork.
  • Place baking parchment on the bottom of the baking dish and spread 2/3 of the flour mass over the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Spread the curd cream evenly with a spoon and sprinkle the rest of the flour mass on top).
  • On top of the flour mass, grate another 20-40 grams of oil (also from the freezer).
  • Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees and put the pie in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • Allow the finished pie to cool to set well.


  • Yesterday I baked it for the first time in a slow cooker. I had to put on the baking mode twice for 20 minutes. I still baked it in the oven, my husband demanded that "the top was burnt."

  • The observations are as follows: in a slow cooker, alas, for a long time, the butter at the top of the pie is melted, and in the oven it leaves cool crusts like in a grated pie. And the "finishing" after the multicooker in the oven did not spoil a lot - it burned a little (this is for my taste), arranged for my husband, ate half yesterday

I found this recipe once on some culinary site. It's a pity I didn't remember him. But still a huge thanks to the author! The pie is amazing! And most importantly, children eat cottage cheese! And so, in its pure form, even with sugar, I can't even make the younger one even smell!
