Cod liver salad

Ingredients

cod liver (canned) 1 can
boiled eggs 3 pcs.
onion (medium) 1 PC.
green peas 3-4 tbsp. l.
grated parmesan cheese 1- 2 tbsp. l.
medium potatoes 2 pcs.
balsamic vinegar
salt, pepper to taste
dill

Cooking method

  • It was in the evening, there was nothing to eat ... but I wanted a salad with cod liver. Well, very, very.
  • I had to urgently boil potatoes and green peas (I have a homemade one, I like it more, although of course you can take a ready-made one). Boil the eggs, cool. Cut the onion into thin half rings and marinate in balsamic vinegar slightly diluted with water.
  • When all the preparatory work is done, it remains only to slightly mash the cod liver with a fork, squeeze the onion, cut the remaining ingredients into cubes and mix everything. Season the salad with a mixture of canned food and mayonnaise (or both).
  • Yes, not dietary and absolutely high in calories, but how delicious!
  • I dried slices of bread to the salad (I have white, but you can also rye). There are many options for such salads, maybe someone will like mine. Bon Appetit!

I adjust to taste. It should be sour, but not so "tongue in a tube". Marinate for about 15-30 minutes. I usually start cooking with the onion, and while it is pickling, I prepare all the other ingredients.
