Greetings to all bakers! I really, really want to join your ranks! I painfully choose the unit, I stopped already at BORK, but then a friend advised LG. She had it for many years, now something is irretrievably broken, she bought Mulinex, and regrets that she did not take LG again. My choice of BORK was influenced by its round shape. I really want to bake cakes. And now I'm thinking about LG. Please tell me which is better - BORK or LG (in terms of quality, functionality, etc.). By the way, maybe some other HP have a round shape?

I have LG. What can I tell you about this car?
A very good, solid car, serves faithfully, and has never refused. But in terms of functionality, it is inferior, for example, to the Panasonic, or the same Moulinex. Using the comparison of Uncle Sam, if you transfer it to cars, then the Panasonic can be equated with foreign cars, and LG with domestic cars, solid, but domestic, for example, to the "nine". Now, in order to expand the functionality, I myself am on the path of choosing a second stove. And I choose, just between Panasonic and Moulinex. I would advise you to read the topics about all these machines in the "Difficulties of choice" section, hardly anyone will tell you anything new, but there people put a lot of copies on this account, talking about the delights of their cars. Especially look at those who have several, more than one stove, they have something to compare with, and what to say. From what I have already gathered from what I have read, if you focus on the quality and variety of various types of bread, especially white, as well as French - you need to take the Panasonic, a reliable, and most importantly, very high-quality machine. If you focus on gray, rye, black types of bread and sweet pastries - you Moulinex, but this machine has a very high percentage of defects, I think your friend is disappointed with this machine for this reason. But if you are lucky with the quality of the car, then for these purposes you need to take this car. And since she has such a large percentage of rejects, she must be taken in those stores where they are taken back without problems within 14 days, so that during this time she can be run in full. In Simferopol, Eldorado belongs to such stores. Well, LG, I would refer to small copies of these two machines combined. That is, it seems to do everything, but with poor quality, due to its reduced functionality. That is, it’s not great, but good. But this is all IMHO, the processing by me of information from the topics read in the CHOICE DIFFICULTY section.

forosenok I choose LG from these brands. Since this is a foreign brand with their service, which cannot be said about BORK. Well, there is no such brand and company abroad.

forosenok, the forum has owners of both brands. Find Alexandra - she has Bork now. She is pleased. The stove has more possibilities than any of the Skis. But, quite rightly, I wrote sazalexter - the company is generally strange in history. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the quality will not let you down. Borki produce their equipment at different factories ...

As for the round shape, this is a good detail, now there is a Tefalca 4002 Duo - also with two buckets. But the cake is perfectly baked in an ordinary oven, in a round shape - after all, Easter is once a year, for the sake of this holiday you can bake in the oven, and knead - any stove will do a great job

By the way, look at Kenwood, 350, 450 (this is generally a new interesting model).

And what was good before - now, alas, there is no hope for that ... Although I have dearly loved my Ski for almost 9 years

Thank you all for the efficient and detailed answers! Mams, just now I was watching Kenwood 450 and it seemed to me that I want it! I looked - you have Panasonis. In your opinion, is this the best possible? I also thought about this HP. Kenwood 450 is comparable to it?
Suslya
Yes, look closely Kenwood, good ovens. I'm sooooo happy with mine. I went to buy a 450 model, but I did not like that the bucket was wobbling there, and since this model was in a single copy in the store, I stopped at 350.

When I bought my oven, there were no 450x Kenwoods yet. Today, in terms of technical parameters, Kenwood is somewhat better, at least one is in it, which is not in Panas - there is a function for creating your own programs (programming). As for the quality of the stoves themselves - it's difficult here - Panas has been making stoves for a long time, the quality has proven itself, Kenwood has made stoves definitely easier than Panas, but 450 I have every chance of becoming higher than Panas. But everything will be seen after a while, whether Kenwood will reach Panas precisely by quality production. Of course, everything happens, and the Japanese break down, but so far (TTT) - rarely

I am very happy with my oven. She copes with all the functions I need. The bread is delicious and of high quality. I like it more than from Ski. I hope that I won't have to change it soon. But if I have to, I will seriously look in the direction of Kenwood, or maybe by that time there will be something more interesting
Suslya
Programming in the 450 model is, as they say, a double-edged sword. On the one hand, there is such a function, but 2 deboning for 15 sec. there are stable. So long-term proofing is not possible. For example, as for me, I switched to sourdough, and that in my Ken on the semi-manual mode, I would do the same in the 450 model.
