Ingredients

Dough:
Sour cream 1 st. (250g.)
Egg 1 PC.
Sugar 4st. l.
Vanilla sugar 1 sachet
Fresh yeast 15g. (2 tsp dry)
Wheat flour 400g.
Salt pinch
For lubrication:
Egg 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Grind yeast with 1 tbsp. l. sugar, pour into a bucket of HP. There is sour cream, an egg. Top with flour, remaining sugar, vanilla sugar, salt. Dough mode (1.5 hours). At first it seemed to me that the kolobok was tough, but by the middle of the batch it became smooth and elastic.

  • Buns "Octopus"After a lapse of time, divide the dough into 12 pieces. Roll a tourniquet from each piece.


  • Buns "Octopus"Wrap the tourniquet with a snail and use scissors to make cuts along the entire length of the "snail"


  • Buns "Octopus"Put the snails on a baking sheet lined with paper.


  • Cover with a towel, put in a warm place for 20-30 minutes (I put it on the stove and turn on the oven for heating).

  • Brush with egg before baking. Bake in a preheated oven (180C) for about 20 minutes.

  • Sprinkle the finished buns with icing sugar.

I loved the idea of ​​decorating these buns. In principle, you can use any favorite yeast dough you like.

In the original recipe ( the buns were called "Chrysanthemums". It seemed to me that mine, well, do not look like these flowers.
