Wheat and barley bread in the oven

Ingredients

2 cups wheat flour
1 cup barley flour
1 glass of warm water 350 ml
Dry yeast - 1.5 tsp
Cane sugar 2 tbsp l
Salt - ½ tsp

Cooking method

  • Dissolve yeast in half warm water, add 2 tbsp. l flour, sugar, mix and leave the dough for 10 minutes.
  • Mix the whole flour (total amount - 550 grams) together add salt, dough, and the rest of the water .. knead a soft dough. Leave the dough alone until it rises 2.5 times.
  • Wheat and barley bread in the oven
  • Then we knead and form the bread in tins and put it on for about 40 minutes in the oven at 30 degrees. After 40 minutes, sprinkle the bread with water or grease with an egg, turn on the oven at 220 degrees, after 40 - 50 minutes, our bread is ready ... grease with butter, let it cool and serve.
  • The bread is very very soft:
  • Barley flour has a mild, mild aroma and light nutty flavor, gives baked goods softness. Bread mixed with barley flour has a tart taste. I advise everyone to try this wonderful bread, it is very tasty !!! and even more so barley flour is a valuable dietary product for a healthy diet!
