Bean pate
Category: Vegetable dishes
Ingredients
Beans 2 cups
Onion 1 Large onion
carrots 2 pcs (medium)
sweet pepper 1 pc
garlic 10 cloves
cheese 100 gr.
spices (salt pepper, asafoetida) to taste
refined vegetable oil 2-3 spoons for browning
unrefined vegetable oil 4-5 tablespoons
Cooking method

Soak 2 cups of beans overnight, then boil (I usually take black beans. White beans work well too, especially from lima beans)

2 onions, 2 carrots and one sweet pepper (can be replaced with a bag of dry sweet paprika) finely chop or grate and sauté in a frying pan in a little oil.
Add to boiled beans.

There are also 10 cloves of garlic, 100 gr. cheese, spices (salt, pepper, asafoetida and any other to taste. Usually herbs - marjoram, cumin, basil, etc. I add when cooking beans, some spices when sautéing vegetables - Indian garam masala, for example)

I puree everything with a blender, add a little oil (olive, linseed or pumpkin), put it in jars and put it in the refrigerator.
The pate is not stored for a long time, it is better to eat it in the first 3 days. Sometimes it lasted for more than a week, but it starts to turn sour.

The pate goes well as a spread for sandwiches, for a layer of pancake pie. Add to a bowl of soup for a bean puree soup.

An excellent recipe - remove the cheese, and you can put it up for a competition! Also attach a photo ...

Why remove the cheese? It gives the paste a plastic consistency. Especially if you put it in a still warm beans with vegetables.

I will attach a photo when I make the pate.
In the next week or two, I'm not going to.

No, for the recipe and for yourself, of course, you don't! And if the competition is Great Lent, then it is better to remove ........
Asteria
A! Thank you. Found about the competition

All my dishes are lean for life (though I don't eat cheese and eggs). Everyone has their own faith.

Do you think that the competition has correct attitude towards Great Lent? So, the forum "lotion".
