The question may be a little naive, because my pressure cooker is just coming to me. Question: are we making a cake under pressure, or with an open valve?
Laksana
under pressure ask if anything is interesting)))) I like to discuss it
libushe
I will have a slightly different Avair, I am in the Czech Republic, but the principle is still the same. The same modes. So I'm waiting and still studying where what recipes are, but they are not especially, multicooker is everywhere. I will definitely ask, thank you.
Laksana
my sister is working in the Czech Republic now)))
How come there are no recipes? just full !!!!!! here's a link 🔗]

How could I not find ?! And how many! Thank you very much, I'll go to study. Sister - hello

Laksana, good afternoon! Another question, I didn't seem to find the topic separately. A question not related to pear pie. Can I put a silicone basket-steamer inside a Teflon saucepan? A little water to the bottom, of course. The metal one can scratch, but nothing will happen to the silicone? Won't smear on the walls?
Laksana
Hi there. I wouldn't risk it honestly. I did not try. I use such a thing Mandarin Pear Pie chamomile. I bought it in the usual household. It seems that I haven't scratched anything in a year and a half. If you dare, please unsubscribe how it went.

Hello! I took a chance, put a silicone chamomile there, everything is in order. It was written that this silicone is up to 220 degrees. I do this now for steamed cutlets. Someone wrote to me that all the rubber bands there are also silicone. I was afraid, but I tried. Everything is fine
Laksana
thank you, now we will know

Laksana, hello!
Because you (can I call you?) Love your pressure cooker so much, I want to share my found mode for baking a biscuit. On "porridge" + "porridge" I got a crust at the bottom and was dry and did not turn out so high. Here is a photo of chocolate on boiling water from a pressure cooker:
Mandarin Pear Pie
I described this mode in my post here: (I do not know how to make links)
Or in normal words - on the good-cook the section "what do we cook in the pressure cooker" - "pastries" - "chocolate on boiling water from libushe" (there are 2 of them), mine is the last one.
For a normal biscuit, the time is less - 65 minutes.
Here is the usual one - vanilla boiled water (65 min)

Time is clear, like in a cartoon. I would be glad if this information is useful to you.
Happy Holidays!

: girl_curtsey: thanks a lot, I will definitely use it

Hello everyone! I have been using the LL pressure cooker for almost six months, it helps a lot, because we live in a new building and have not yet acquired a kitchen. I have a question about "chocolate on boiling water". I did it on porridge, the bottom burns, I have to cut it off, and the middle is damp. How can you make porridge + porridge, the bottom will completely burn out and the smell of burning goes (I grease the bowl with oil).
libushe
Irene, and if you carefully read my post, I write there that a crust forms on the porridge - it starts to burn. The secret is to turn off the heating even before its formation. Therefore, take a look at the link in my post - I describe the technique there in great detail. Intermittent heating-heating technique at 15 minute intervals for convenience. The biscuits in the photos are made using this technique, not for "porridge-porridge"
An4utka
Girls, can you tell us more about your pressure cooker?) I also look at LL, because a 4-liter, and 5 is too much. Is it possible to cook 1 portion in it, how many products can I lay? And how long do the different modes take? I looked at the recipes here and there, beef stroganoff for 20 minutes, baking 60 ...
{I want to go to China for a 2-3 liter pressure cooker! }
libushe
An4utka, I have other models of sv, but the cooking time in all sv is about the same. Baking in the baking is done without pressure, so there is no time reduction, rather baking takes longer than the oven. Stew meat under pressure (pork 20 min, beef 35 min), make jellied meat (50 min), vegetable stew - 8 min, soup (depending on which - 15 - 30 min), porridge - 12 to 30 minutes (depends on personal preference , I like the 30-minute porridge) I write the time - from the moment of entering the mode, plus the heating time to boil and pressure relief. It is not necessary to pour water into the sv to cover the food, sometimes 1-2 multi-cups (160ml, 180 up to the brim) are enough, so it takes 3 minutes or more to enter the mode. The more liquid there is, the longer it takes to reach the mode - the water must still be heated before steam is formed that can create pressure. Fry quickly on the stove, but it's unlikely to cook the softest pork in the sauce in 25 minutes. In general, in this section, you need to write comments on the pie. Therefore, my message is offtopic. I apologize to the author of the recipe and the moderators. Sorry.
An4utka
libushe, thank you very much for the details. I didn’t find a separate topic for LL, so I asked here. Excuse me
