Note

Yeah! You’ll lose weight with you. Soon I will have koloboks rolling around the house - an exception - my granddaughter, she does not overeat, she knows when to stop. The girl observes the figure (at 3 years old), not like us. And 200 degrees is not a lot? And then today my milk hockey game for 45 minutes and at 175 degrees fried came out. Maybe it's true because of the milk and eggs?
Tomorrow I'll bake your Greek, I really want

Omela, this bread of yours is disgraceful fffkuss ... the current should be warned that you desperately want a kebab shampoo with hot heat, an armful of greens with cucumber tomatoes, crunchy juicy green onions and a glass of dry red And why should I I'll take everything now?

I baked the bread with sourdough, I thought of counting it on a larger size in time, the green olives had to be replaced with black olives, and the feta - with cheese with cottage cheese, milk - with kefir ... well, I also wanted to shape it round to bake it in a wok. And the rest - everything is strictly according to the recipe

With a round molding, a very exotic cut has turned out, it will be necessary to leave the upper layer thicker.

In general, this recipe is prescribed in the active list, I'm going to put a fat plus

My heart felt that I would have to repeat this bread more than once, and so it happened.

Thanks again

Girls, just don't twist your finger to your temple. But what if we replace olives with olives, and feta with sheep's cheese? Do you think it will be similar or is it from a completely different opera?

I think it will be sooooo tasty Especially if the feta cheese melts and does not remain in pieces

Yes, I forgot, instead of thyme I took "Provence herbs" Camis, the aroma is crazy

Just yesterday I read a more "ecological" version in the magazine. Black olives are unripe olives that have been exposed to oxygen for 8-10 hours. So you can sleep well !!!

Quote: gypsy

The black ones are used for the production of olive oil. As I understand it, it is simply not profitable to close them in banks. Maybe they become softer when ripe ???
Gypsy
I read .. there are even green varieties of olive. But in general, they are green at first, then darken
Russians on Wikipedia say about fat content:
green (milk) contains fat 9 - 28
fresh (as I understand it, mature) contains 6 - 30 fat

Historically, the "Russian" call green olives, and black olives.Well, and the manufacturer - he needs to sell! - goes on about the consumer and names the product as it is customary in a particular country.
Take for example - wine berry == figs == figs.
And TV drives us what is paid for. Someone needs to sell green olives - they will tell you - environmentally friendly, and black ones seem to be poisonous.
But I have never seen the national team hodgepodge (sometimes called "villager") with green olives, well, green olives do not go in the recipe and spoil the look of the dish.
And also - of course, saying "I have olives" in a restaurant sounds cooler than "I have (vulgar) olives"
That's all
IRR
Black_cat, I personally saw on TV - how in the underground laboratory * they were painting * green olives by some chemist. composition with multiple iron content. And in a couple of seconds they turned into olives. horror, they told me from detstva - the TV is evil ...

Thanks to the author for the recipe.
There is not so much fuss, olives give a pleasant spicy aftertaste, well, and cheese is cheese .. or rather, as they say on packages now, it is a cheese product.
That is, olives seem to be not olives, in Russian if, and cheese is not cheese
But everyone who tried it liked it.

Thyme is not the only weed plant on earth ...
Have you tried to replace it with what you love?
I don't have thyme at all at home, I poured all over. And with olives, and with pickles straight with skin (if small) - the bread is simply amazing.

Thanks a lot for the recipe !!!

It became my very first bread !!! I don't have a bread machine yet, but I really wanted to bake bread. So I began to look through many recipes in search of one that I could be inspired by. I found yours, copied it into my notebook.

Then, when the right ingredients were selected, I started. I took a jar of pitted olives (green) without pits (and without fillings), feta cheese "President" and a mixture of "Herbs of Italian cuisine" from "Kamis", 3 grams of dry yeast "Saf-Moment".

I kneaded the dough with a mixer, it turned out to be a very nice dough. I rolled it out, put half of the filling (and forgot the herbs for the first filling of the filling), folded it in half. On the folded part, spread the remaining filling and sprinkle with a mixture of herbs.

After proving (1 hour in the microwave with a cup of boiling water, I couldn't wait longer, time was running out). I smeared the top with milk. I baked in a preheated oven, I don’t know how many degrees (we live without a thermometer), but somewhere by eye 180 *, it rose in the oven. After 10 minutes, it was already gilded, turned it over on its other side, after 5 minutes I still had to get it - one edge began to burn. Checking with a wooden stick showed that he was ready.

Dimensions 21x25 cm, height 6 cm. I wish I had weighed it.
They did not try immediately, left to cool down overnight, covered with a towel. The next day they cut it up and tasted it.
It was so delicious !!!
Greek bread with feta and olives (oven)
The crumb itself was perfectly baked, porous, did not crumble much, the crust was thin. And the taste and aroma (crust and crumb) immediately reminded of good bread, such as sliced "Novinka", bakery.

We ate it in a day and a half. My daughter (5 years and 4 months) ate the crumb with pleasure, choosing pieces without filling. And my son and I liked everything entirely. Thank you very much!!! We will definitely repeat !!!
Only I will lay out the filling not 1/2 by 1/2, but 2/3 by 1/3, so, in my opinion, it will be more even.

And my daughter said that we still need to bake such bread, but not with cheese and olives, but with pickles and fried tomatoes. Thank you!!!
Omela
Bird Sirin , Thank you very much for your kind words! Your bread is awesome !!! And the description of the process is so exciting !!! Glad you liked it!
