Beef stew with pickled cucumber and carrots

Ingredients

~ 1 kg beef fillet
4-5 pickled cucumbers, better than homemade ones - fragrant and crunchy
4-5 medium carrots
a few pots of allspice

Cooking method

  • Sometimes you just want meat, so this recipe is just meat and nothing superfluous that can change its taste. It's better not to do pork like that, it will be "uninteresting".

  • Cut the meat into arbitrary small thin slices, almost like beef stroganoff. Cut 1/2 of all carrots and 1/2 of all cucumbers into rings, rub the rest on a coarse grater. Fry the meat a little in butter, then add the vegetables and simmer, covered, over low heat until the meat is tender. Salt at the very end.


  • In a slow cooker.
  • Fry the prepared meat in the BAKING mode for 20 minutes, add vegetables and fry for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Switch to STEWING mode, cook for 1.5 hours, stirring several times during cooking.

  • Serve simple meat with just pasta or just potatoes
