Spicy cranberry sauce

Ingredients

300 gr fresh cranberries
120-150 grams of sugar
0.5 tsp salt
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/3 teaspoon ground cloves

Cooking method

  • If the cranberries are frozen, pour a small amount of boiling water before cooking, then cook as fresh.
  • Cover the cranberries with sugar, add salt, mix and knead the berries a little with a spoon. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until berries are soft for about 15 minutes. Add spices, boil for a few more minutes. Remove from the stove, stir a little and grind with an immersion blender or knead well with a potato crush (crush). Cool down. Serve with meat or pancakes.
