Dear forum users! About 2 months ago I bought this Panasonic model, I was happy like an elephant))) The microwave is very beautiful in design, made in Japan (and not in China, like all the other Panas now), but in terms of functions, it does not knit socks) )) But after these couple of months my joy subsided slightly.

No, no, everything is fine with the stove, it works for now (pah-pah-pah). It's just that I didn't get exactly what I expected for such a price. But I do not sin on the microwave, all the same, but on my not ability to cook in it (and in any other one too, since this is my first microwave). So I turn to the owners of this particular model for help, because I understand that all microwave ovens, like any other kitchen. technology has its own peculiarities, nuances of modes and temperatures, etc. What do you cook in your stove?

And you are especially interested in the modes on which you cook (for example, meat, chicken, fish, and is it possible to cook them together with potatoes at the same time, as in the oven, or do you still need to separately)? Everyone takes so much time to cook in it, as I do (for example, chicken legs with potatoes under a cheese crust were cooked yesterday for about 2-2.5 hours) !!! Thanks in advance for your answers: flowers: I think this information will be very useful for newbies like me. A book with recipes from this microwave can be safely thrown away, since any recipe there is given in this form, for example, "we cook potatoes on the Combination5 mode 20-25 minutes. Or until the potatoes are ready" ... You might think that potatoes are someone prefers raw?!?

I say right away that I don't have such a CF. About a year ago, I set out to buy a microwave that can be used as an oven. The requirements were simple, large volume and the presence of a convection mode. I didn't climb out of the forum, I read all the pros and cons of inventory microwaves, and I was about to take the 997S too, but the price was scared off, at that moment it cost already under 4,000 UAH. (16,000 rubles), and shove such a "fool" from Kiev ... Well, okay, that's me all about myself.

I am a user of a similar 42-liter Panasonic stove, only the previous model (the difference seems to be in my lack of sensor heating to the desired temperature and the location of the buttons on the panel). The stove has been working properly for 3.5 years. I don’t use all the bells and whistles, automatic modes too (maybe I need to learn, but I’m postponing everything for later). Conv. He cooks baked goods like a regular oven, both in quality and in time, in the combination mode a little less in time (but not by 1/3 of course), I use only combi 5. The legs and potatoes are cooked for 40-60 minutes, no more.In general, I'm happy, considering that we bought it for 18 thousand and use it very actively, because there is no ordinary oven, and the family is 4 people :))

my 10-year-old Samsung recently ordered to live a long time (((I started choosing what to replace. I also took an inverter, but NN CS596S. I looked in comparison with yours and I don't understand why yours has a higher price. I liked the steam humidification function in my model. -first, when defrosting, the time has noticeably decreased two times. But the main thing is baking. I do it on the auto program. It turns out everything is drop dead. In the process of baking it sizzles there - humidifies the air. It turns out very cool.

Your price is lower, because the volume of 997 is 42 liters, I fry the whole goose in such a goose

I like !!!! I have been using this model for over 2 years. You just have to adapt. This volume allows you to prepare large dishes for festive tables, only the dishes must be selected appropriately. I cook up to 3 kg of food at once. With a large mass of pledges, the cooking time increases accordingly, to reduce the time I use various modes. For example, to cook a baked chicken or goose of 1.5-2 kilograms of weight, with potatoes or stuffed with something, to begin with, I heat the products from the inside with full power of microwaves for 10-15 minutes, and then either convection or combined mode 5 or 4, in 1 hour everything is ready, everything depends on the need. But most of all I like that the time delay and their cooking programs have been tested, of course with a slight adjustment in time from the weight of the pledged products, I filled the dishes with food, loaded them into the oven, set the time and decorating them on the table from the oven at the right time. On the contrary, I decrease the temperature and increase the time, it turns out like in a real oven, and it does not burn and languishes. I did not regret that they gave more than 20,000 rubles. It's worth it. And it corresponds to the firm.
With respect ......

Girls, can you use it without a glass tray, putting everything on the bottom?
Light
Ilona,
what exactly? What modes? Clarify the question.
the glass tray, as I understand it, should be placed on a wire rack ...

Ilona, when buying her oven, the sales assistant said never to remove the tray ...
I felt sad ... that means you can't put a plate of food ... and I've been heating it for a month already, damn it ... I put everything and baked in a silicone mold, too, just like that ...
Light
I put the tray if in him I'm cooking something ... and so the stove is without a tray!
I warm up - I just put a plate of food on the bottom of the stove ... I put the silicone mold on the lattice support that comes with the kit so that the air functions.
Ilona
ABOUT! The instructions only say this:
Glass tray
1. Use the glass tray by placing it in the oven at
direction of the arrow.
2. If the glass tray is hot, let it cool before
than washing or cleaning it.
3. Do not place food directly on the ceramic bottom
oven chambers.

Well, I wouldn’t think about that ... but it’s not written anywhere about the fact that you cannot cook without a tray. I thought it was for amlets and casseroles, etc.
Ilona
Girls, where exactly for her can you buy all these grates, trays and trays? and more ... I don't have a book with recipes either, but they say you can even bake bread in it. I want to try everything. Otherwise, I don’t understand when to use which modes. Combined, etc.
Light
Well, you don't put food on the bottom, but put it on a plate! I think that's what they mean ...
Ilona
Maybe there are perennial owners of this stove? What will they say?
Light
here's a book, just don't know, an instruction or a recipe book

I have a stove for over 7 years ...
Ilona
Thank you!!! I'll look at work tomorrow. It won't work on a tablet.
