Tomato curry sauce

1 large onion
4 cloves of garlic
70 gr (2 tablespoons) tomato paste
1 teaspoon adjika or pepper paste
1 teaspoon curry powder
3 table. tablespoons of vegetable oil
broth or water
salt, sugar, pepper

Heat oil in a saucepan or saucepan with a thick bottom, add chopped onion as finely as possible, simmer until soft. Add finely chopped garlic, stew. Sprinkle with spices, stir. Add tomato paste and adjika, stir and simmer until oil turns red. Pour in a glass of broth or water and simmer for about 20 minutes over low heat until thickened, adding hot water or broth as needed. Puree right in a saucepan with a blender, bring to taste. The sauce should be about the thickness of store ketchup.
