Ingredients

Milk 1/3 cup
Ripe mashed banana 1/3 cup (approximately 1 medium banana)
Strawberry jam 1/4 cup
Egg 1 PC.
Butter, chopped into pieces 2 tbsp. l.
Water 1 tbsp. l.
Bread flour 3 cups
Salt 3/4 tsp
Yeast 1 tsp
Chopped toasted pecans 1/2 cup

Cooking method

  • Add the ingredients to the machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer of your bread maker. Set to the main mode of white bread.

I also have this recipe, and I once made such bread. To be honest, this type of bread has not taken root in our family (although the woman who wrote this recipe on the internet said that this bread is one of the most beloved in their family). We never found the proper use for it. For sandwiches, it is somewhat sweet, but for tea, it is not sufficiently rich. I was very interested in this bread because of its ingredients, but the banana is not felt at all in the bread, but only gives it a grayish color. But judging by the popularity of the recipe (I've seen it on several sites), probably many people like it, and I am not discouraging anyone from trying it. Just expressed the opinion of our family. Just a couple of hours ago they took a sample ...

but I slightly modified the recipe, I don't have any preserves at home, so I added walrus strawberries and 1.5 tablespoons. tablespoons of sugar.

The taste was expected to be more pronounced or something ... not impressed. One thing should be noted ... the bread is simply unrealistically soft. Spreading butter was extremely problematic.

I baked this bread only once, but this is because I myself try to eat less flour, and the homemade people prefer unsweetened bread.
