Ingredients

Sugar 1 glass
Vanilla sugar 1 sachet
Flour 3 glasses
Apple cream:
Apples for cream 2 Kg
Sugar in cream taste
Raisins in cream on request 125 g

Cooking method

  • Glass 250 ml
  • Shortcrust pastry:
  • Grind 300 g of soft margarine with
  • 1 cup sugar + a bag of vanilla sugar +3 eggs +
  • 3 cups flour mixed with a bag (3 teaspoons) baking powder.
  • Put the dough in the refrigerator for an hour.
  • Bake 5 layers in a 26 cm mold or
  • 4 cakes and one small in a mold with a diameter of 28 cm or
  • 3 cakes and one small for the whole baking sheet.
  • We line the form with baking paper, distribute the dough with wet hands and bake until golden brown at 180 °.
  • Cream:
  • Peel 2 kg of apples, core, cut into pieces. Put a piece of butter on the bottom in a cauldron, apples on top and cook puree (evaporate the liquid). Add sugar to taste. This time my apples were so sweet that sugar was not needed. Pour a teaspoon of lemon sugar or lemon zest into the hot puree, if desired - 125 g of raisins.
  • Grease the cooled cakes with cooled puree, chop the small cake with a rolling pin and sprinkle on the cake.
  • Do not add cinnamon! She does not fit this cake.
  • Leave the cake to soak overnight, not in the refrigerator.
  • A festive option is to top with whipped cream.
