The color should contribute to a good mood and relaxation, relieve fatigue. Physiologists have found that red is tiring, green is soothing, orange and yellow is invigorating. Cool colors - blue, light green, gray - evoke a feeling of great spaciousness. A room whose walls are painted in brown or dark blue seems to be smaller.The room facing the sunny side is better pasted over with wallpaper of darker and colder tones, and the room facing the north side with wallpaper of light, warm colors.
